[b]Personality[/b]: Named for his firey hair, Kai doesn't really act it. In fact, he says the firey name only fits his passion for love and girls, though most would roll their eyes at that. Kai is a lover both with friendship and romantic partners. He is a massive flirt and simply likes to make people happy. His passion for fire pokemon stems from his belief that warmth of body, words, and heart is the one true fire way to make people happy. 

However, Kai is not always as happy and chipper as this. He is the farthest you could get from a morning person and if he doesn't take naps, he gets extremely cranky. He likes sweets and hates spicy foods. He loves fire pokemon and absolutely hates poison and water type pokemon. Though, to be fair, water pokemon hate him too. They always seem to use water gun on him after a few minutes of knowing him. 

[b]History[/b]: Born in Santalune, Kai's never had a pokemon and at his age his mother has all but given up trying to get him to go out and live a little. When they got wind of the free pokemon give away, Kai shrugged his shoulders and told his mother he was willing to try that adventure now. He was getting bored of his life any way. It was about time he spiced it up.

An only child, Kai always had everything he needed and never wanted for anything. His mother is a nurse and his father a local chef. He's spent a good deal of his life wasted away in Lumiose City, hanging out with his new and old friends. He's always been a socialite and will probably always be a socialite.
