Viral was feeling not too fantastic right now, blaming Aito’s spying on them immediately. He didn’t like being watched all the time, it constantly happened and he couldn’t do anything about it other than get angry at it and show that he was. He was feeling panicked with his heart racing for some reason, but he wasn’t going to panic about that when he was supposed to be the strong one here. He didn’t see any reason to be panicked right now so he was just trying to cool himself down, sighing in annoyance as Aito tried to dish out his excuses. “Maybe next time, don’t get all sneaky and say you’re there!” Already annoyed at Aito he frowned when he proposed to take over, looking to Vegeta quickly before groaning, giving his wrists a rub. If he had to spar with Aito then that was just going to be it. Staring at Aito he frowned when he immediately offered the first hit, staring at him for a moment before moving into a ready position himself. “Fine! But if you expect me to have forgiven you for your spy tactics then you’re greatly mistaken”. Immediately with little hesitation he burst forward towards Aito, throwing one of his strong punches at Aito as if hoping it would punish him for thinking so little of his privacy.

Shu was pretty stressed out, even if it was just his friend and Yumi. He knew he hurt T’charrl and felt deeply worried about his condition, seeing how it involved someone who was usually quick to recover from an injury to be bedridden for a few days. Feeling deeply concerned for his friend he stared up at him as he gave an explanation of how he felt about the situation, still feeling a little unsure as to whether he was telling the truth or just trying to cheer him up. Sighing a little he looked down momentarily, squeaking when Yumi decided to sneak up from behind and pet his head, stroking his hair gently. Having a hard time deciding whether she was telling the truth too he looked to Takeshi for confirmation as well, staring at him as he eventually gave a clear answer. “It really was bad Krom…? Oooohhh…” Looking down momentarily his eyes soon went up to Yumi again, staring at her for a moment before she took hold of his hand and pulled him up. With eyes still on the ground he eventually looked up again at the mention of a possible fun day, staring at her before giving her hand a quick tug. “Ooh! Was eating food when you and Friend T’charrl come. Can share food, yes? Was going to maybe swing in trees, but Friend T’charrl still hurt. Not even want to hug Friend in case Shu hurt Friend…”

T’charrl was fairly glad to have backup when inquired about his injuries in front of Shu, probably because with his memory problems the fact that he said it wasn’t his fault wasn’t going to suffice. He knew there was no reason to believe him if he could barely remember what happened, but thankfully that didn’t have to be the case. Sighing lightly when the crisis was averted he made a quick glance to Takeshi before to Yumi as she tried to make plans for them all, staring at her as he thought about the possibilities. He didn’t really see him moving much, but when Shu suggested they eat what he had he gave a little smile, feeling hungry himself. He couldn’t really pick up what kind of food they had unless he looked at their lunches, his sense of smell being pretty damaged right now. Luckily his antennae being damaged didn’t affect his taste, otherwise he would enjoy absolutely nothing and would just feel like a drone eating for whatever purpose. “I can’t play around too much like this, but I can watch and eat easily. So long as I eat, I can recover fast”.

"Right, right, I'll be more forthcoming next time I drop by for a visit, sorry," Aito responded again, chuckling as he waved his hand, "No more funny business." He'd probably not have seen Viral act the way he did though had he made his presence known, and the entire reason for coming was to just say hello and see how they got on organically. Already his presence here was disrupting their time together, and the Beastman was not at all thrilled with him butting in on the sparring. Still though, he'd agreed to take on a new partner, and the doctor had every intention of committing himself to this for the time being. "I suppose it would be asking a bit much to be forgiven so soon," Aito nodded in understanding, watching as Viral promptly went in for an attack thereafter. Fast, his speed was coming back to him at last. Bracing for the incoming strike he took a punch right to the head, being spun partially and having to plant his foot firmly to stop himself, his head jerking to the side from the hit. "Ow... You really do it like a runaway train," the doctor chuckled, nursing his jaw as he turned back to Viral. So he had speed and strength, but how about his endurance? Only one way to test that he supposed. Taking one small step forward he suddenly seemed to come to stand right beside Viral, swinging his arm out to try and knock away the Beastman in the process. "I won't go easy on you now that I know you're healthy. Let's see what you can do."

Had Shu not been told what actually happened yet? Yumi was surprised at how taken aback he appeared, as though he'd been left to believe he'd really attacked T'charrl outright. Shooting Takeshi an accusing glare she reigned in her annoyance for now, making a mental note to dopeslap the older boy later for being an idiot. "That's right, Krom did it, not you. You didn't do anything wrong Shu," she said again, smiling as she helped him up to his feet. That seemed to cheer him up somewhat, maybe now they could focus more on having fun rather than fretting over non-problems. Everyone was out of the hospital and healthy, even Viral was recovering now, there was plenty of reason to celebrate. "Oh, well I ate already, but I'm sure T'charrl would love some food. And I'll try swinging with you," Yumi said happily, reveling in the fact Shu was pepping up again, "I'm sure if you're extra gentle then you can give him a hug, I bet he'd love one right about now," she added, glancing back at her friend knowingly and giving him a wink.

It really was nice that T'charrl was feeling better, things had gotten scary there for a little while. Takeshi had been worried sick over how their friend was and whether he'd recover or not, seeing him here now was a massive relief for him. Smiling slightly as the three discussed plans he nodded at the mention of food, gesturing over his shoulder to the food laid out behind them. "Help yourself buddy, all yours. I was just finishing up anyways," he added, stepping aside to give T'charrl free access to it all. Earlier he'd been a bit reluctant to pack a mostly fruit based lunch for him and Shu, but now it was proving to be a really good idea in hindsight. "Hey Yumi... Uh, you seen Viral lately? How's the guy doing?" Takeshi asked casually, folding his arms as he looked up at the trees, "I was just wondering when I can start my sword lessons, you know? I asked him a while ago and its been weeks since then... Or days, jeez, I don't even know at this point."

Yumi looked at Takeshi incredulously before smiling, picking up on something he was trying to hide by acting dismissive. "Aw... You're worried about him aren't you? That's adorable!" she teased, watching as he huffed and grew red in the face from her quips, "Last I saw him he looked better, but he's still got a little healing to do. You could always ask him for your lesson, I bet he'd be happy to give it to you. Even if he won't say it, knowing him." It might do Viral some good, give him something to focus on other than being sick. "But for now just have some fun with us, you can train with your toy later!" Smiling as she slapped Takeshi on the back she went to join T'charrl and Shu as they ate, sitting beside the latter and tilting her head thoughtfully. "Hey Shu...? That reminds me of something... Didn't Takeshi get you a staff? Back on Kaesstra, you never learned to use it did you?"

Viral was pretty angry at Aito and wasn’t afraid to show it by aiming straight for his head, not pulling any punches just because of who he was. It wasn’t as if he thought of him as any sort of father figure anyway, he was barely a father to him. He created him but he didn’t really care for the fact that he was trying to give him the feeling of having a family, especially when it didn’t feel like he was anything like family. June he barely ever saw so he couldn’t account for her when she was busy off having fun with whatever she was up to. Not dropping his guard as Aito took a bit of a spin he narrowed his gaze, groaning lowly before raising his fists again to try and be prepared for any sort of swing that came by him; however, that didn’t appear to be a possibility as Aito was immediately in with a fair good smack to hit him away. Stumbling, Viral managed to catch himself before he would fall to the ground. Giving him a fairly angry glare Viral was back up once again, leaping straight at Aito as he tried to hit him with a fairly solid kick before he could even think about throwing his fists to try and beat him down.

Shu didn’t know if they really meant it or not but he wasn’t going to end up feeling down and depressed if he could help it with everyone here. It would be a complete bother for him and everyone if he was going to be sad by what happened, even if he was told countless times that it wasn’t his fault. He could recognise when it was his fault and if he was the one out of control then he was the one who was at fault, not anyone else. He didn’t know how else to solve the problem other than try and forget he did anything. Offering his friends some of his food might help take their thoughts off him and distract them, hopefully clearing the mood a little more so that he might be able to forget about it as well. “Ooh, but Friend all hurt and that would be bad to do! No wanna harm Friend with hug…” he squeaked, knowing it would be bad if he hurt his friend by getting over-excited with a hug. Moving on over to the food he slowly sat down, curling his tail around himself as he waited for his friend and Yumi to join him.

T’charrl didn’t know how he would be after a hug or anything close to being squeezed, his eyes going to Yumi when she gave him an odd gesture for something. He didn’t understand what she meant by that or if he was missing something, but he was going to hope he might do the right thing and not end up screwing up like he usually did. As Shu sat down he stared at him for a moment before slowly sitting down as well next to Shu, finding it a little hard but still managing eventually. Giving Shu a quick smile he reached out for one of the fruits, but Shu had quickly got him one. Smiling at Shu he took the fruit, shifting on the spot as he tried to move closer to Shu before he started eating the fruit. It was enjoyable after eating basically syrup for a while, but that was all those nurses seemed to know what to feed him when he heard he metabolised sugary food better over fat like they seemed to. Even though he did eat a lot of meat because of his condition, he still needed sugar to feel energised and have the ability to recover from terrible injuries.

Shu was happy to help his friend out when he was all sore and such, even if it was to reach out for some fruit. He was happy to help and was happy to see T’charrl taking the fruit quite happily. It was nice to be all together like this, his own attention going back to the food. Taking a piece of fruit for himself he munched on it slowly, listening to what Yumi and Takeshi were talking about as he ate. He did wonder how Viral was doing too, he hadn’t seen his friend in a while and it was a bit sad that he was still having problems, even with the help he was getting. The best part was Viral was looking much better according to Yumi, hoping he would see Viral out and able to do something he might find enjoyable again. Sighing lightly, Shu squeaked when his name was mentioned, his eyes going to Yumi quickly before away again, raising his shoulders. “I didn’t, but I don’t want to break it too”, he sighed, shaking his head, “It still on ship. Why?”

Being blind-sided like that by Viral was unexpected, Aito didn't think he had quite that much power back. Despite the now dull ache in his jaw though he couldn't be upset, smiling excitably instead as he nursed the wound. If he was able to dish it out then he should be able to take it too, only one way to check. In taking just one step he seemed to vanish briefly and appear at the Beastman's side, throwing an arm out to the side and swatting him away as one would a small insect. While it managed to move Viral it did not knock him over, and within seconds he was back on the attack. "Anger is fine in a fight, but don't let it blind you," the doctor chided gently, reaching out at Viral's kick and pushing the leg aside to avoid it, stepping as well as the Beastman flew past as a result. Spinning on his heel he blocked another punch with his fist, moving his grip to hold Viral's wrist as he snatched the other up. Before any reaction could be made the doctor vanished once again, coming to stand still immediately at Viral's back, arms folded casually as he glanced up at the sky. "You're certainly recovering in the physical sense, but we've got a little bit of work to do on your emotional state. Tell me, how does it feel, being able to move like this again?" he asked, turning as he spoke and throwing a knee around to try knocking over Viral.

"I'm sure you won't hurt him with a hug, but alright then, you don't have to do it." No sense in forcing anything on Shu, and anyways T'charrl was happy enough just being out here. They could all just sit and relax without a care in the world, something they hadn't been able to do in a very long time. Coupled with the fact that Viral was healthier now as well and things were really looking up for them. No doubt something was bound to come up in later days, it always worked out that way, but for the time being they should just take this downtime for what it was worth and make the most of it. Just what to do with all of it though? Yumi hadn't given much thought to how to spend time off really, having gotten used to scurrying place to place and constantly fighting; they could do whatever they pleased now and she hadn't the faintest idea what she wanted. One thing did come to mind however, something a bit obscure maybe but it could be fun.

"Well because it just so happens that someone here could teach you how to use it," Yumi said proudly with a a smirk, "That is, if you want to learn. It could be fun, and if you have it then you might as well learn to use it, right?" She was far from a weapons master and had never spent that much time with them in the dojos, but she'd picked up enough to have some basic grasp on them. Staves were the more familiar to her, and while rusty she could probably still help Shu learn something about using one. "See, a staff is really good. It means you can fight people at a bit of a distance, and its not like using a sword or anything, it won't really hurt someone when you hit them. I think it would be perfect for you." Training with the staff and getting good with it too might help him feel happier, knowing he was good at something. She might not be able to do any psychology or medicine work like Vegeta or Aito, but she could at the very least try to do her part.

Viral was not willing to let Aito walk all over him, even if he was as strong as he claimed he was. He wasn’t sure how he was going to do it, but he was determined to show him and wipe that smug look off his face. This was probably the only opportunity he had to show Aito a thing or two about him and hopefully he would soon see the truth, that he wasn’t as strong as he thought he was. Despite being knocked a bit by that last hit he did go straight back into the fray, trying to kick Aito but ultimately missing, instead having to use his fists; however, Aito quickly caught that too and soon disappeared, turning towards the sound of his voice before being kneed in the back. Wincing as he was suddenly knocked over he growled, pushing himself up and turning himself around again. “You’re asking me that now?? With the way you’re treating me, you might as well be trying to disable me again!” He didn’t like being ambushed and it was only proving to make him angry, even if Aito told him not to let it affect him in battle. Going straight in again for an attack he tried going low, trying to force Aito back as he threw his fists wildly, using them as if he was using his weapon.

Shu didn’t want to mention he would most likely harm his friend, especially when Yumi seemed confident that he wouldn’t harm him. He was sure he would considering he was the absolute worst for hurting his friends, especially after what happened before. Sighing lightly he picked up some of the fruit he looked to Yumi again when she inquired about his staff, feeling curious about what she meant. Maybe she found someone here who could teach him, but he was still worried about breaking the staff somehow. “I do want to learn! I just don’t want to break it!” Hearing her talk about the logic with staves and how they would be good for him he bounced a little, squeaking slightly. “Oooohh, who it be that can do? How to teach Shu? Shu wanna know! How to use without breaking? It was present and no get them at all!”

This was not an exercise to humiliate Viral, not in the slightest. Aito wished to experience his power now that he'd recovered, and from that determine if Viral was prepared to enter the battlefield or not. Of course they would appraise his mental state before letting him go too, but if he showed he could handle and deal the pain then he'd be in better standing. "I'm only striking what's left open, nothing more. Keep your guard up and I can't strike as often," the doctor shot back, jumping backwards to avoid a low strike from Viral. When the flurry of punches began he stood his ground, moving at incredible speeds and waving in and out of the blows, though not countering with his own. When one punch went high and off to the right he took advantage, trying to grab Viral's arm and pull him up and over his shoulder, intending to flip him if it worked. "Your attacks are without reason or thought, relax and consider what you're doing. If you think about it you'll land more strikes."

"Oh you won't break it, I'm sure you won't. We'll just be extra careful until you're more comfortable with it, okay?" Yumi asked with a smile, grabbing up a small green fruit and turning it over in her palms. Stifling a laugh when Shu missed her hint she bit into the fruit curiously, surprised to find it tasted something like a peach though it had a consistency like a hard apple. "Well I'd teach you of course, who else? Viral and T'charrl use swords, and a staff isn't the same as a sword. If you try treating them the same then it'll be really awkward," she explained, taking another big bite before wiping her mouth off on her sleeve, "You might get more presents soon, you never know! But in the meantime let's make good use of the one you got, right?" Hint for Takeshi there, though they could all do with getting Shu a gift or two. Goodness knows there were plenty of birthdays that were needed to be made up for, nevermind everything else they might not be considering. Come to think of it too shouldn't they be giving T'charrl some gifts as well? She'd have to run all of that by Vegeta and his parents later, see if maybe they could organize something.

"I was gonna teach him you know, I just... Never got around to it," Takeshi said halfheartedly with a frown as he itched at his nose, "But yeah, I mean a staff can't be all that hard to learn. Easy to pick up but hard to master, that sort of thing." It would do Shu some good to be busy and get his mind off stuff, and it was nice that he might finally be getting to use the staff. Kind of sucked that he'd never gotten around to helping his brother learn, even if he really hadn't a clue on how to use a staff himself. Seeing as Shu was more than happy to learn from Yumi however he figured he was off the hook here. Now, what to do with himself? Maybe while Shu was learning his staff he'd keep training with Krom, since it wasn't like Viral would be up for sword training any time soon. Training with the Elite it was, never thought he'd be willingly doing that. "Hey T'charrl... You were doing lessons with Vegeta before, right? You know, reading and writing and all that," Takeshi began thoughtfully, smiling as he glanced across to his friend, "What do you think about helping Shu learn a bit. Now that you know some."

Viral didn’t want to have it all end like this, the training session to end with complete failure because he couldn’t keep up. Aito was just wanting to make a fool of him in front of Vegeta. He was trying and yet Aito was constantly showing off, probably using Ki too for the extra boost. Trying to go in low after Aito he threw in blow after blow, but they didn’t go on for very long as Aito grabbed him and threw him right over. Landing on his back he quickly rolled over, giving Aito a fair glaring at he lowered his head, growling angrily as he was basically told he wasn’t good enough. He had been fine before but now he was being told he was terrible at fighting. “Stop telling me how to fight!!” Finding it rather hard to concentrate now he completely blew off what Aito was telling him and immediately dashed in with little concern for his actions, only wanting to throw in all he had at Aito as he immediately went in again. He was trying to be more thoughtful with his strikes, seeing how he was immediately going for Aito’s head to punch his lights out.

Shu really didn’t like the thought of breaking something like a gift to him, maybe if he used a different one but that one was special to him. He didn’t want to be using it and ending up being way too rough. Squeaking when she said she was the one who could help him he turned to her, staring at her curiously he soon slowly looked away, thinking about it before immediately looking back again at the mention of more presents. “Ooh! I don’t know what I would get! I don’t know what I would get more presents for. I don’t even know why I got more presents for”. He didn’t understand why he did before, but he still remembered it as being a fairly big deal to him. Smiling happily for a moment he soon sighed and looked down again, looking down at his fruit as he contemplated his future for a moment and what he should believe.

T’charrl was eating pretty quietly as the others chattered, staring at them as they talked with each other. He saw no reason to interrupt their chatter when it seemed important, smiling slightly. He wasn’t only good with swords, he was pretty okay with a fair number of weapons considering who taught him how to use them but he wasn’t going to say anything about it, seeing how it would be a bit of bonding Yumi and Shu would be doing as a result. Staring at Yumi he soon quickly turned his attention to Takeshi, staring at him before frowning. “Uhh, I don’t know if I’m good at teaching. He can be with me and Vegeta when I’m being taught, but I’m really bad at teaching when I am still a beginner with reading and writing”.

Why was Viral so insistent on fighting wildly? If he was careful with his strikes not only would he hit more but they would be more effective and direct. Instead of pacing himself however he saw fit to throw as many strikes as he could muster, getting one or two at most to land out of a dozen. Flipping him over to try and make a point he sighed when the Beastman only continued on his fury streak, weaving again to avoid being hit in the head. "Viral, you're not listening to me. If you can't bring yourself down and relax then I won't bother training you." Aito threatened, albeit halfheartedly. He knew how important this matter was and it shouldn't be dismissed, yet if he continued going like this he'd end up the equivalent of a berserker, nothing more. However, wanting Viral to not end up utterly disheartened he stopped moving thereafter, taking a solid strike to the mouth and being knocked on his rear, groaning as his lip was split and blood trickled out of his mouth. "You hit hard, we've already established that..." Aito continued as he looked up at Viral, smiling slightly before turning his head to spit, "But were this a real battle you'd be at a disadvantage. Take a moment and collect your thoughts, then we'll continue."

"You could get presents for your birthday, for starters, and we'd owe you a lot of them at this point," Yumi explained, munching on the last of her fruit, "Mmm... Or for a lot of holidays on Earth people give presents too. But we'd probably just give you birthday presents, I don't know what holidays people celebrate." Giving gifts just for the sake of giving gifts was fine too, nothing wrong in a little generosity now and again. Really she'd buy Shu something any time if he wanted it, especially if it made him happy. Seeing the young boy smiling, Yumi got back to her feet and threw the core of the fruit off into the trees, licking her fingers to clean them before clasping her hands together. "There, now we can practice swinging in the trees, right? And you'll teach us how?" she asked, hoping Shu would perk up some more at getting to do something he liked, "You're going to need to be patient, I've never done this before, might take a while to get it." Glancing up at the trees she tried to figure out exactly how it would even work, never having attempted as much before. Did they just swing like monkey bars from branch to branch?

Takeshi would be happy to see his gift for Shu finally being used, even if he himself had forgotten about it. Considering how much fighting with those creatures was coming up it was all the more reason to learn too; having the staff would keep Shu from having to get too close, maybe he'd be more comfortable with the extra reach. This was too all dependent on whether the little guy could learn to use it or not, and with Yumi offering to help he was hopeful his brother would. Just learning to use a staff however wasn't Shu's only concern, there were other things his sibling needed as well, more book-oriented things. "Huh... I guess that's a good way to do it, Vegeta's a smart guy..." Takeshi said thoughtfully with a nod, "How're you liking that stuff by the way? I mean is it hard? You like learning it? I never really did a whole lot you know, just enough to know what stuff is. Heh... You'll probably know more than I do before long."

Viral didn’t take a breather during his entire onslaught of attacks, looking like he just wanted to hit Aito. He didn’t have much on his mind as he continued to try and attack Aito, growling in response to his threat. Looking a little unfocused even after he had been told off for attacking so wildly he continued to go in and try to hit Aito, only managing to get in a punch once Aito stopped moving. Growling lowly at Aito he moved closer to him, his claws bared before he made a sudden stop when Aito looked up at him. Staring down at him his fingers twitched but eventually he growled again, turning away for a moment and walking away and eventually sitting down by himself. He didn’t know how to feel right now, everything was causing him to have much more of a problem than it should had. He felt confused and angry, like everything was attacking him. He would wait out Aito’s little ‘moment’ though, seeing how he didn’t have anything better to do like ‘collect his thoughts’ when they were already scrambled in the first place.

Shu didn’t know what to say to such offers or how to feel about the thought of getting more presents, probably because it was just such a new concept for him but he still experienced it a little before, especially with Viral’s birthday party. It seemed like an exciting time for everyone involved and it was rather nice seeing Viral get so many things, even if he couldn’t really remember what he got. He remembered something like some kind of polish, but it had been so long ago. Maybe he wouldn’t remember all the presents he would get if that was the case, but then again it was probably different if he was on the receiving end. “Oooohhhh! Birthday presents? When my birthday? Ooh! Holidays? Is that nice time too? What you do on holidays?” Not really understanding what the word ‘holidays’ meant he was still excited. “Practice swinging? Ooh! Tree! Tree swing!” Bouncing onto his feet he made a quick jump to a tree, grabbing onto its trunk before jumping again to a branch, hanging from it and swinging gently. “Swing in tree!”

T’charrl didn’t really like how much was expected of him just because he was doing something somebody else was needing to do. He knew he wasn’t very good at it and would be a bad teacher and he didn’t like that, he would just be wasting everyone’s time. Frowning at Takeshi as he spoke he let out a sigh, looking down at the fruit again. “It’s really hard, but I’m still glad I’m trying. I’m only good at talking because everyone always talked around me. Writing and reading is something I’ve never really had to do. I don’t know about knowing more, though. I mean…you’ve been around it all your life. Or most of your life, I don’t know. I’m a fast learner, but even that can be hard”.

Something was amiss here, otherwise Viral would not have heightened levels of aggression. His genes should have been repaired so it couldn't be that, suggesting it was more of a mental problem than a physical one. Finding it just as easy to take a hit and be done with it he left himself wide open for a strike and was floored as a result, his lip split from the strike. The power was there, as was his endurance and speed, certainly not a physical problem. Calling for a brief reprieve he watched the Beastman storm off by himself and take a seat, very strange that he was insistent on being alone too. Wiping a bit of blood away with his thumb the doctor got to his feet and went to join Viral, smiling slightly as he placed a hand on his hip. "Good, now that we're seated maybe we can talk. How does your body feel after that, are you tired at all?" Ease their way into the conversation he supposed, asking outright if he was mentally sound was only going to spark more anger no doubt.

"Well... We celebrated one of your birthdays back on Earth, but that was only one. I think we still owe you... Fourteen more?" Was that how old Shu was? Yumi was abashed to admit she didn't remember her friend's actual age, and perhaps no one here really knew. He seemed like he was a young teenager physically yet acted younger, and without knowing from his parents it was almost impossible to say one way or another. Come to think of it she didn't wholly remember Takeshi's age either, only that he was the older of the two. "Yeah, holidays are fun! They're special days when you celebrate something big happening, but you don't get presents on all of them," Yumi explained as she listed off a few on her hand, "There's New Years where you celebrate the start of the new year. There's Earth Day where you celebrate the planet and you go out and do good things for it, stuff like that." She knew there were all sorts of special days around the world, it would be impossible for her to list every single one though. Thinking about it for a second she figured she'd gotten her point across enough, not that Shu appeared to care a whole lot either way. Watching as he darted up a tree Yumi grinned in amusement, getting to her feet before scurrying up after him and grabbing onto an adjacent branch easily enough. "Let's do it! Go ahead and teach me Shu, I'm watching."

There went Shu and Yumi, which meant Takeshi supposed he should get moving soon too. He'd only just started talking to T'charrl though so he hoped his friend wouldn't be too sore about his leaving. "Well you're doing a good job buddy, I mean it. Compared to before you're speaking perfectly, you know? And you're only gonna get better," the Saiyan said with a smile, glancing up as he watched the others getting ready to move, turning his attention back to the Kaesstrian. "I've been around food all my life too but I can't cook. I've been around cars and homes too, but I can't drive or build a home, you know? Just because you're around something doesn't mean you know how to do it," Takeshi pointed out, pushing himself to his feet and dusting some dirt off of himself, "Well you keep working like you have been and you'll be one of the smartest guys here, that's for sure. I really think you could get it all down." They would have to continue this conversation though, he'd promised Shu he'd give swinging in trees another go and had no plans on going back on that. "Be back in a bit, plenty of food left so take whatever you want," he added with a smile, waving before turning and flying up to where Shu was perched, squatting down beside him and giving a thumbs up.

Viral didn’t want to be around anyone right now, accounting of his failures. He didn’t know what he was supposed to do with absolutely everything troubling him right now. The threat to have no more training was just too much for him. How dare he get denied training from him just because his fighting style wasn’t what he would call ‘proper’ like his. He wasn’t the one who was bad and Aito had no right to tell him that he had a problem with fighting. It wasn’t as if he had changed in fighting style since he got ill. Not wanting to be near Aito right now he sat by himself, feeling rather sickly in his anger which only got worse when Aito decided to come on over to him and start talking to him. Growling lowly he kept his eyes off Aito, slowly rubbing the sides of his head. “Why do you assume I want to talk to you? You’ve done enough”, he growled lowly, “I don’t care about my body and neither should you! You know I’m not good enough for battle, you made sure I’d know that too. Just call me a crap warrior already and get it over with”.

Shu didn’t know what he was supposed to understand about birthdays other than people certainly liked to be happy on them and give stuff to the person who had the birthday. It seemed like such an exciting time and if he was given the chance he would try and celebrate someone else’s birthday, so long as he knew what to do that is. Squeaking happily as he swung back and forth on the branch he listened to Yumi explaining the holidays, staring at her curiously before having a bounce. “Ooh! Earth Day! Do good things! Good things like-…like-…umm, things! Right? I don’t know what things are good for people. Sounds hard to think of!” There was a lot he didn’t really know even though he had been taught much by the folks who taught him how to speak and act properly around people, even if he wasn’t very good at acting normal still. Watching as Yumi and Takeshi decided to join him up in the tree he smiled happily, swinging a little at first before letting go and suddenly going flying off towards another branch, swinging using one arm at a time. “Swing, swing, swing! Need speed! Need to go forward! Can’t stop! Don’t stop! Will fall if stop!”

T’charrl gave Takeshi a smile at his compliments, feeling a little embarrassed. He didn’t know how well he was doing but there were still a lot of words he didn’t understand that made him particularly nervous when he did hear them. They were big words and understanding them was always going to be a complex situation. Sighing lightly he shook his head when Takeshi decided to try for some examples as to why he was doing a good job, coming back with examples that sounded like they would take a completely different skill altogether. “Uhh, hearing and seeing to learn is different from learning a skill. Those things sound so much more complicated than the last”. Staring at Takeshi when he decided to go and join Shu in the trees he made a quick glance up before back to Takeshi, his eyes soon going down to the fruit. “Oh, uhh okay. I’ll be here. I mean, I can’t go anywhere else, I guess…so…”

Letting out an short sigh, Aito hung his head for a moment before addressing Viral with a quizzical look. "You say you don't care yet wish to be stronger. You want to fight again but don't care about your well being, yet you need to be healthy to fight. And I've never once said you're a poor fighter, only that your form is off right now. You're being too reckless, and you know as well as I do what fighting like that can do." Was he really doubting himself this much? Over a small sparring session? He had struck hard when he did connect and he'd connect even more if he was patient with his attacks, why couldn't he understand as much? Itching at his nose thoughtfully the doctor then got back to his feet, seeming to inspect Viral for a moment before smiling slightly. "Tell me... Do you think you're a crap warrior? And if you do then tell me why."

"Yeah, Earth day. It's kind of hard to list all the holidays but that's a few of them, and people really like to celebrate. It's fun, there's parties and gifts and all sorts of things," Yumi explained, seeming to reminisce as she became starry-eyed. "They have huge parades on some days, which means a lot of people dressed up playing music and floats with brilliant designs and all sorts of amazing things. We'll have to take you to one when we get home." It had been ages since she'd enjoyed one of their cities many festivals, nevermind a near global holiday like Earth Day. The last two years had more or less been completely engrossed by training and then their adventures, leaving little time for old hobbies. Not the worst thing however, now she had time to develop new hobbies like swinging in trees. Beaming at Shu as he began moving she paid extra attention to what he was doing, dropping down to hang on the branch before swinging her entire body. After a few good swings she released herself and shot forward, laughing excitedly as she grabbed a nearby branch and continued swinging, using the momentum to keep her in motion. "This is amazing Shu! You do this all the time?" Yumi shouted, giggling as she spun herself in mid-air, nearly missing her branch as a result.

Takeshi felt a bit bad leaving T'charrl there on his own, but he had promised Shu he'd swing with him. He'd tried to leave on a good note though and compliment T'charrl, though he wasn't completely sure if that had worked or not. Hopefully the guy wouldn't be too upset, he'd like to come back afterwards and chat a little more if he could. Up in the tree with Shu and Yumi now he waited for his brother to make the first move, watching as both of them went off without much problem, swinging along like it was natural; for Shu swinging in trees was natural, it was surprising to see Yumi doing a good job though. "Right, here I come guys!" Takeshi shouted, grinning as he tried to jump to the first branch, figuring he'd swing from there. After grabbing hold he swung his legs and went sailing to the next tree, narrowly missing the limb as he grabbed hold and swung along. It was awkward trying to grab at the branches and he was turning a bit to the side each swing, but he was managing to move along albeit not as quickly as the others. Both Shu and Yumi were having a blast with it, and he couldn't exactly say he was disliking it himself.

Viral didn’t know what he was supposed to do about his current situation other than feel terrible during this brief break. Aito was probably using Ki to gain an advantage there too, knowing him. Feeling frustrated as Aito continued to talk down to him he growled lowly before he shook his head. “I don’t need to be worrying about my health. I’m fighting like I always do and you’re telling me that is my folly. You think I would take your analysis of my way of fighting well after I’ve been doing it for so many years? I am not a Human or a Saiyan, I don’t fight like your kind do!” He wasn’t taking it particularly well, but he had all the right reasons to do so in his head. He was being told he was failing at fighting well and this was all because he was happy to show that he was better than him in so many ways. Glancing at Aito when he stood up he merely huffed, looking away for a moment before he was asked a fairly complicated question. “What I think?? What a question to give to me when all the answers are fairly obvious”, he growled, keeping his eyes off Aito, “You know I can’t compete with all these alien fighters, for one! Every battle I come out the loser, I just can’t win at anything. I would be dead so many times over and yet I’m not. I’m always left wondering why I’m still alive. I can’t fight even when I try! You can’t just change the way someone fights just because you told them it’s wrong. Even if I did, you would only flinch on purpose like you did just so I can hit you and feel momentarily better about myself even though you know I would have no chance in a real battle! I can’t change, even if I tried, and I can’t compete. Of course I’m a crap warrior”.

Shu didn’t understand why these holidays existed or why people wanted to do them but they sure sounded pretty fun. If lots of people enjoyed these holidays then it must’ve been a great thing to have, even if they didn’t really have much of a reason for it. People were so strange in this regard, but he felt kind of glad that he was allowed to take part in these holidays because he had friends. “Dress up? Music? Ooh! Floats! Floats what? That sounds strange!” He did feel all sorts of excited and did wonder if he was going to end up being able to see it all, seeing how they were not returning to Earth anytime soon. With that being thought about he did decide to show Yumi and Takeshi what he could do, swinging around in the trees with excitement, stopping briefly to look at Yumi and Takeshi. Yumi was slow but still trying, giggling at her when she was trying to show off. “Yes! Swing swing! Don’t do all the funny spinning until really good at swing!” he squeaked, hanging around by one arm, “Might hurt on branch or tree!” Looking back when Takeshi headed on out he squeaked happily, bouncing on the branch a little as Takeshi tried too. Watching him he giggled as he spun around and swung over to Takeshi. “Swing at good speed! No rush, otherwise hurt or fall! Swing all fun but sometimes fall or branch snap!”

"Well perhaps I'm not as acquainted with your style as I should be then, so take my words as merely suggestions. Not every fighting style is perfect or absolute, you shouldn't be wholly dejected because I've found a counter to yours, just as I know the weaknesses to my own. Limitations do not make something obsolete, it's only natural," Aito explained patiently, not getting riled despite Viral's clearly emotional stance. Getting to his feet he let a brief silence pass over the group before posing a question to Viral, one about how he viewed himself as a warrior; calling himself crap and listing shortcomings was more or less expected to be the reply. "You fought when you were physically weak and even then, fighting only served to make it worse. The fact you fought at all is impressive, never mind the outcome of the fight. You're correct on both accounts though, I opened myself up for that attack. I'm certain however you could land strikes on me regardless, I wished to see how strong your strikes were. As for a real battle I can't say either way, perhaps you would lose or perhaps you would win. You're healthier now and you could surprise yourself if it came to a fight."

This was where Viral and Vegeta had been staying right? What a quaint little house, it was the very sort that June would have loved for herself and her family had they not lived in Capsule Corporation. Maybe once they finally got a chance to return home they could look into a small home, perhaps just as a getaway whenever business became too much or they just wanted a break from it all. Smiling thoughtfully she opened the front door and stepped inside, a bit puzzled to find no one there. "Hello? Boys...?" she called, not hearing any response even as she started roaming about. It wasn't until she heard Aito's voice outside that she finally found them, and seeing Viral looking very upset on the ground was hardly a welcoming sight. Whatever her husband and son were up to it clearly wasn't helping anything, they were only making matters worse. "Aito! Vegeta!" she shouted, frowning as she stormed over to the group and stopped at Viral's side, kneeling down and placing her arms around him in a hug. "Whatever you three are doing here you're done, he can spend the afternoon with me now."

"Oh they can be, some are really beautiful though! Especially in the spring and summer, a lot of them will have flowers and bright colors and everyone dresses in these brilliant costumes, you'll love it." It really did seem like the sort of thing Shu would love, it was fun and carefree and he'd get to see all sorts of new things. This was provided they got back to Earth any time soon, and goodness knows what time it would be when they finally did get back. Trying to be a little showy with her movements she attempted to spin herself on one go, narrowly missing the branch as a result but somehow holding on. Smiling sheepishly when she realized Shu was watching that she nodded at his advice. "Okay, no fancy tricks, I'll be good!" Yumi laughed before propelling herself forward again, catching up to where the younger boy was and stopping. Hoisting herself up onto her branch she sat down across it and let her legs hang, waiting for Takeshi to catch up to them patiently. "Come on Takeshi, you've got this, let's go!"

Jeez, now there was a pep talk, don't fall and get hurt. It wasn't like he was getting all crazy and trying to swing around in circles as Yumi was, he was taking it fairly slow and being careful about where he grabbed the branch. "I'm going buddy, I'm going! Hold your pants will ya?" Having to stop temporarily as he reached a tree with too many limbs in his way he released his grip and landed on a lower branch, surveying it for a new place to start from. There was one just above him and out to the left, seemed easy enough to do. Smiling confidently he jumped up and grabbed a hold of it, gasping as the limb flexed under his weight but didn't quite break. In a slight panic he went ahead and swung, barely making it to the next tree and grabbing the branch... This one did snap. With the limb in his hands Takeshi fell little over two meters and landed square on his rear on the branch, wincing audibly as he seemed to tense up and go rigid, tears in the corners of his eyes as he scrunched his legs together and dropped the branch to the floor. "Ooooow... ow ow ow... I think I broke my ass..."

Viral was completely stressed out and Aito asking him such a question wasn’t helping him at all, his image of his ability to fight already being sullied and completely destroyed by past problems. He didn’t know what he was supposed to do otherwise, he couldn’t change immediately just because someone told him to and what was worse was Aito was just basically telling him it was his fault for not adapting. When Aito put down his problems to weakness he gave him an angry glare, obviously disagreeing with that deeply. If that was the case then his whole life he had been physically weak and not just only now. “I was healthier than this before and I still couldn’t win! Who are you trying to kid? Are you just trying to make excuses for your failings when you created me??” he snapped at him before looking away again, “Surprise myself…hmph, surprise myself at how quickly I die? I don’t know why you bother trying, as if trying to compensate for your mistake…” When a sudden voice decided to ring out calling at Aito and Vegeta Viral let out a gasp, turning to look around to see it was June. Whatever she was here for he didn’t know, but soon enough she came over and embraced him. Stiffening up he really didn’t know how to react to this, his eyes only glancing to June before he muttered. “W-What are you doing…”

Shu really had no clue what any of these holidays were but they all sounded so grand and something he probably would love to get involved in. He was pretty happy to try out new things and if these holidays were something normal people liked to do then he would definitely take part in them. He still didn’t feel like he didn’t belong, but it didn’t mean he wasn’t going to at least give new things a try and hope for the best. Stopping while he waited for Takeshi to catch up he turned his attention to Yumi who was having a good time but now also making a stop too, looking back to Takeshi to see how he was managing. Holding on with one hand he watched him curiously, twitching when the branch snapped and Takeshi went falling, landing on a branch below. Squeaking, Shu twisted himself around and held on with the other hand, bouncing slightly. “Ooh! Bum! Must prepare for fall! Watch where go!” he spoke, pulling himself up a little before swinging around, holding onto the branch with his tail instead. “Look for strong ones! You silly going for quick swings! It fun to swing when there’s no worry of fall”.

"Whoever said I failed at creating you? I know I had said you were my one success before, but never a failure," Aito said as he tapped his chin, seeming to think it over for a moment, "Mmm... Nope, I never called you a failure. That's your assessment, not mine." Would Viral see that he was the only one doubting himself, not the other way around? Letting out a sigh when the Beastman continued on he shook his head, placing a hand on the back of his neck as he closed his eyes for a moment. "The only mistake I made was not having eggs with my breakfast today, other than that there's nothing to speak of. You are not a mistake and there is no regret in your creation, only pride and aspirations. And you've not died Viral, and you won't, you're much too capable to fall in battle, I'm certain of that." Shame, perhaps he'd been a little too optimistic about how this might work, though he supposed it was a lot to do all at once. Hoping to continue on with their session Aito paled slightly when June showed up, a meek smile crossing his lips as he waved at her. Yep, definitely angry, perhaps he should have been a bit more delicate.

Whatever Aito was attempting to do was clearly not working, June could see as much just from first glance. Vegeta seemed to simply be along for the ride yet she was equally annoyed with him, finding the two who were trusted with Viral's health to be stressing him out. Marching over to where her son was sat she knelt down and promptly hugged him, smiling as he became confused over the gesture. "It's a hug Viral, mothers do that for their children when they're uspet," June joked lightly before taking one of his paws in her hands, helping him to his feet, "And while these two decide how they're going to actually help you, how about we spend the day together? I've barely seen you since we got back. There's so much I'd like to do and talk about, and it's a beautiful day. How about we go for a walk? Unless there's something you'd like to do instead?"

"Ack... I know squirt I know, sheesh..." Takeshi winced, slowly easing himself up as he rubbed at his rear gingerly. Not broken but it sure felt like it, never mind the fact he made a total fool of himself just now. Standing up on the branch he braced himself against the trunk, taking a moment to gather his wits before smiling at the pair above him. "Won't happen again, just you watch. This stuff is easy and pretty soon I'll be doing better than you Shu!" Rubbing his hands together he looked around for a suitable branch to get moving on again, finding one in a not so distant tree just beside where his brother and Yumi were sat. Crouching down on the branch he sized it up before jumping and grabbing hold, grinning as he swung along and to the next tree with ease, this time being mindful enough to get a grip on a bigger branch. "Come on slowpokes, keep up!"

Well it was certainly nice Shu and Takeshi were having fun, even if the latter was missing the point. Smiling exasperatedly as Takeshi swung ahead of them Yumi let out a sigh, turning her head to the younger boy next. "Why does he have to turn everything into a competition? Does he compete to see which one of you can finish going to the bathroom first?" she asked jokingly, rolling her eyes before getting to her feet, "Either way we don't want him getting a big head do we? Come on Shu, let's show him how it's done!" Or Shu would show him, she was still getting the hang of it really. Bouncing on the branch a few times she winked at Shu before jumping off, lunging ahead for a branch and swinging herself around on it, laughing as she soared through the air and to the next tree in line. Jeez this was fun!

Aito was just so full of pride it was almost on the verge of unbelievable. It was making Viral furious, even if it was him not accepting the fact that he was still a good warrior. The fact was he didn’t believe he was and it was hard to get out of that mindset once it had been set in, only making things worse for him and only managing to make him feel even worse about himself. The more Aito continued to try and drill in the fact that he was a good warrior only managed to make him feel worse, knowing for a fact he was inferior to all the modern warriors. If a battle decided to take to the air he wouldn’t be able to follow, he would be stuck on the ground waiting for the battle to come to him. If there was a fight between Ki users he would most likely be blasted away before he could even get close or charge his energy. On the verge of giving Aito a fair shouting at for comparing his problems with eggs it was June who came in and interrupted that.

Looking to June he was rather confused and a little flustered, staring at her before grunting a sigh, looking away. “You’re not-…don’t call me that…” She certainly had the nerve to come in and do that while he was trying to get through to Aito, even if what he was saying was supposed to be some sort of encouragement. He didn’t know what it was with her either, it wasn’t as if she ever paid attention to him when she came back and now she was all trying to get involved with him and insert herself into his life again. Glaring at her as she pulled him up to his feet he looked away, pulling his paw away. “What is with you? Fine! I’ll go with you…seeing how these two are completely useless…”

Shu was having a good time, even if he didn’t know what Takeshi was feeling right now. He was the one who originally wanted to do this stuff and he was just the one who was going along with it for their amusement. He would be quite happy sitting with his friend eating food, but if they wanted to swing around he’d at least show them. Holding on to the branch with his tail he squeaked happily when Takeshi tried to shake it off, watching him as he decided to get on with it too. Watching him swing along he looked to Yumi who commented on his eagerness, swinging up onto the branch himself and turning around to face Yumi. “Ooh! No! It’s annoying when he all like that!” Once Yumi started to head on off he quickly bounced after too, swinging through the trees as well as bouncing off branches as he tried to catch up to Takeshi to pounce on him.

June felt it necessary to interrupt this and take Viral away for his own well-being. Even if what Aito was saying might be true it wasn't helping their son any, he needed to get away from Aito and Vegeta for a while. Maybe do something that wasn't having to do with his condition, then he could come back to it when he'd calmed down a little. A sad smile crossed her face when Viral refused her calling him her son, though did nothing to correct him or chastise him. He was in a bad place right now, she knew that, and even then she wasn't sure he'd embrace it completely once healthy. She'd be there for him though regardless, she hoped he knew that much. "They aren't useless, they're just being a little dense is all," June said gently, looking between Vegeta and Aito with a stern glance, "And they're going to think about this before trying again, aren't they?"

"Yes mother, sorry..." Vegeta mumbled in embarrassment, averting his gaze as he wrung his hands together uncomfortably. Being chastised by your mother was always embarrassing, the fact they were almost the same age now made it even more so.

"Of course June, we'll take another look at our approach, don't you worry," Aito said with a smile, waving a hand as though it were no large issue, "You have my word that things will run more smoothly next time Viral, I swear it."

"Hm... Well it had better, you're supposed to help him, not upset him," June shot back as she narrowed her gaze, staring at her husband for a moment before turning her attention back to Viral. Smiling kindly at him she gave his back a gentle rub before folding her hands behind her back and starting towards the front of the house, sending a glance back over her shoulder to be sure Viral was coming along. "Whatever we do is your decision Viral, I'm just coming along to provide some company. Is there anything you've been wanting to do since you got here? Anything at all?" Provided it wasn't anything destructive she'd gladly support Viral, whatever he may want to do.

"He is yeah, I don't get why he does it. Besides he's got to know you could beat him at this right?" Takeshi was new to this just as she was, the notion of either of them keeping up with Shu was a bit absurd for now. The fact they were even able to follow along now was impressive enough, but then they were taking their time and each swing was intentional; someday they might be able to swing along like they flew, without thought or having to be careful each pass. While she tried keeping pace with Shu she found herself lagging behind as he sped up, making no effort to chase as she continued at the same speed. This really was quite a lot of fun, she hadn't done anything like this since she'd tried her hand at gymnastics years and years ago. It would be a shame once they left Uuonoe and couldn't continue, she'd love to be able to do this whenever she felt like this, as would Shu no doubt.

"Come on you guys, speed up will ya? You're supposed to be good at this Shu!" Takeshi teased, laughing as he continued to try and speed along. His movements were anything but graceful and he was flailing now and again to grab hold of a branch. This was easier than it was made out to be, he could practically do this in his sleep! Grinning as he moved along with ease he glanced back when he heard a branch behind him flex, eyebrows shooting up seeing Shu barreling down on him. Just as he had grabbed his next branch the little guy jumped onto him and latched on, making Takeshi grab onto the branch for dear life as they swung awkwardly to and fro. "S-Shu, what the hell?! You trying to knock me off?!" he said in shock, glancing back as he tried keeping his grip, "What was that for anyways?"

The worst thing about this whole scenario was June was effectively taking him away from his training, even if it was frustrating him to no end. Aito just prattled on with the same things like it was supposed to help him remember who he was inside, but problem was inside he believed he was an incredibly bad fighter and incapable of defending himself against the warriors they would encounter in Space. He was the only one who wasn’t making any progress and probably wouldn’t be able to catch up to the others at the rate they were getting stronger. He was never going to be as good as Aito believed he might become, even if he tried hard to catch up. June probably knew this and was pulling him out of this situation before it could become more heated, but it didn’t feel as if it was helping him at all either. Maybe she just didn’t want him believing he was terrible anymore by taking him away from the scene.

Narrowing his gaze at Vegeta and Aito as they admitted being in the wrong he let out an annoyed sigh and looked away again, not particularly wanting to continue on with them either if they were going to be like this. It was like being told off for bullying or something, the embarrassment practically oozing from Vegeta for being caught while Aito acted like the typical ‘until next time’ type. It made him rather angry seeing how little they were treating his beating, but it wasn’t as if he could expect anything less from them anyway. Gasping when June suddenly touched his back he glanced over to her hastily before groaning, looking away quickly and letting out a sigh before he continued onward after her. This just felt weird to him, he didn’t know how to feel around her either. Glancing at her when she asked him a rather difficult question he simply sighed, looking away. “Apart from wanting to kill myself? Relish in the pain and suffering of others, I’m sure”, he spoke, shaking his head, “Why would I make any plans? I’m not like you, like…treating this as if it’s some sort of holiday”.

Shu wasn’t going to let Takeshi get away with trying to be the best at everything, especially when he wasn’t. He should be practicing more if he was to get good at swinging through the trees, even if it was probably something he wouldn’t be doing all the time. Shu was sure Takeshi would do better if he had fun with it and stopped turning it into a competition to see who was the best; besides, it wasn’t as if Takeshi could beat him at it anyway. Swinging on after Takeshi he got in close before swinging in, grabbing onto Takeshi and wrapping his arms and legs around him in a hold as they dangled from the tree. Keeping a tight hold of Takeshi he looked to him, giggling. “You no that good! Shu best at swinging and Shu catch you! Faster than you!” Twisting around he dropped off of Takeshi, holding out his hands as he managed to grab hold of a branch on the way down before dropping to the ground.

June hadn't any real idea why Viral was the way he was, what the root of his issue was. Aito seemed to know yet in his typical fashion danced around the issue, insisting as always the client discern it for themselves. Whether that was the right way to go about it or not wasn't her say, but she could determine if her son was becoming too upset to continue and she would at every chance. He may be sour about it now but she hoped once he had a chance to settle down he'd appreciate it. Or perhaps not. "I'm sure that's not what you'd like to do, doesn't sound like a good time to me either," June said as she shook her head, pausing to give Viral a sad smile. "It's not a holiday though, I've been busy helping the people in this city. I just figured I'd take time off to come and see my so- Um... To see you, Viral." He really wasn't a fan of the whole 'son' idea, she'd have to be especially mindful not to use that word around him then. Difficult when it was true though, even if he hadn't been born of conventional means. She would irrevocably love him even if he denounced her with everything he had, it was what a parent did, it just would be a little nice for him to reciprocate that love now and again. "Oh I know! Before we go out can I make you some lunch? Are you feeling hungry yet?" she asked thoughtfully, "I'd like to sit and talk for a little while too, we haven't gotten to do very much of that yet. If you'd like."

Takeshi was feeling smug as he sped ahead of the others, quickly becoming over-confident that he was getting good at this. Seriously, how hard could it be if he was able to do this already? By the end of the day he'd be able to do tricks too, he was certain of that. Grinning at the thought of doing such a thing he'd barely noticed Shu barrel down on him, grasping on and forcing the older boy to come to a standstill as he clung to a branch for dear life. Face flushing when his sibling told him he was better he managed a smile, snorting before watching him as he dropped to the forest floor. "Come on buddy, I can easily beat you at this stuff with some practice, I was doing really well already," Takeshi retorted as he followed suit, dropping from his spot and using a little bit of Ki to soften his landing. Dusting woodchips and dirt off of himself he glanced up at Yumi for a second before itching his nose, returning his glance to Shu with a grin, "Maybe you're faster than me on the ground, but I can keep up with you in the trees. And in the air...? I think I got you beat there too."

"Because you've been doing it for years, that's a little bit of a head start don't you think?" Yumi retorted from above, dropping into the lowest limb and dangling upside down with her legs wrapped around the branch. Smiling at Takeshi's annoyed look she stuck her tongue out playfully before releasing and dropping down beside the boys. "You did pretty good, but don't get ahead of yourself. Our King of the Trees is right here," she continued as she draped an arm around Shu's shoulders, pointing to him proudly, "And if you're not careful the king might have you pay for your crimes against His Majesty. Make you get him all the fruit he can eat!" Now there was a funny image, Shu as a king. She couldn't help but imagine him in an elegant gown, a crown on his head perched atop an oversized throne. Or maybe a pile of fruit would be more fitting, which only made it even funnier. Suppressing a giggle she released her hold on Shu and placed her hands on her hips and smirked, ready to get on with their day. "We should go back and get T'charrl, see what he feels like doing today! He just got out of the hospital after all, only fair he gets to decide don't you think?"
