Ted thought about what the mentor said, he did not particularity have one favorite type so maybe he should see what he catches as he goes along. 
Something moved on his head, it was Snips. Ted never would of thought he would have gotten such a lazy Pokemon, but aye they seem to like each other.

Snips jumped and landed in Ted's arms, Ted looked over to see Sterling and some girl getting all friendly. He snickered and put Snips back onto of his head. Ted walked up next to Flora, he was wondering what kind of Pokemon they would find on Route 1. 

"Hey Flora, what kind of Pokemon will we see on Route 1." He asked as Snips yawned.
