Asvoria Laurent - Emerald Forest - Tuesday "Sometime"

"Dust Cartridges?" Asvoria questioned with a smirk. "Not to brag," a blatant lie of course , "But this piece of work here? Randgrid? All Girl-Power." She did her best to twirl it around a bit like it were some kind of baton or flag dancers toss around. The size made it a little unwieldy but the girl managed to make her point. "Well, that's a little besides the point. OH! But sweets are a great idea! I like those. A happy me is a happy team? Or something?" She had to giggle at her little bit of confusing conversation but continued smiling until Varen asked if they should scout at the top of the trees.

"Hmm, why bring the fight to them when we can have them bring the fight to us?" The blond set her mallet down against a tree. At first she thought it would be good to hand it to Varen, but that would have just left the girl struggling a little bit. "HEY LOSER GRIMM! I BET YER' ALL SCARED OF A GIRL WITH A HAMMER!!" She couldn't help but turn to Varen as one of the bushes started to rustle. Her face was a pure smile as she turned from the girl to her hammer and to the bush as the monstrosity from nearby showed up. "Oh my, can't say I was expecting this." Asvoria was ever a optimist in such a dangerous situation that stood with her delusion that nothing could kill her as she smiled at the threat, still though, the sight of an Ursa Major was nothing short of breath-taking. "Oh wow, I think I'm trembling a little. With excitement, not fear. . . Probably." The girl braced herself as the Ursa made a beeline for her.

With a feral grunt the creature swiped at her with its clawed paws. Instinctively, Asvoria sidesteped to the right and delivered a tough blow from her weapon to the creatures side causing it to stagger a bit. If nothing else, it didn't seem to expect that such a little thing could inflict such a massive blow. . . But its pain was nothing it couldn't just ignore for now. "This thing is a lot bigger in person. And armored. . . Varen, good buddy, I think this is a thing we need to take--" The creature attacked again with another dodge from Asvoria, nothing she could counter with this time. "--out together." If nothing else, this was a great test of how well the two could work as partners.
