Bob had been somewhat surprised to learn that the rooms were pretty well insulated for a boarding house. Growing bored after a few moments, he slipped by the girl's room, shuddering slightly at the sheer volume of chatter emanating from their room as he passed them quietly and quickly. He moved down the stairs, taking time to note which ones squeaked and how loudly they did so, the number was surprisingly few, He'd have no trouble moving up and down the stairs silently in the future. He nodded to Alex as he took a seat, but otherwise ignored the man. As the two girls came down the stairs... with a clatter, was perhaps the polite way to say it. He sighed quietly to himself, and then stared at Akia as she blabbered about having forgotten to introduce herself, before putting his face in his hands and mumbling through them.
