Ooh, a vaguely familiar name that rings a bell, somehow, [@Rune_Alchemist]!  And incidentally, that whole well-funded merc work thing does sound not unlike what I was floating around as a premise. Good to see another like-minded sort, whether for collaboration or competition.

We'll also need some crazy Luddites, a three-tiered economy, a couple of educational institutions that are hotbeds of social and political turmoil. Let's see...a number of various political movements too - ranging from pan-national global unionists to isolationists and separatists of all stripes. Maybe currency exchange rates, population numbers, economic data of all sorts, as well as some languages and ethnicity - not in the full sense, but more in the dispersion of them within these union-states... And...damn, maybe I'm getting too granular in certain details of the world-building, but these are the sort of things that should be noted SOMEWHERE for reference for those of us that need it.
