Ah, you'll have to forgive me, your name isn't ringing any bells. That said, I have a shit memory when it comes to a lot of things, especially if I was just in like, one RP with you or something. Anyways... Ah, so many ideas, so little time. Having two rival merc groups that compete for the same contracts would be fun to see happen. I think there would need to be a bit of difference between them though to keep it interesting, though. Maybe one focuses on cybernetic enhancements and technology, and the other focuses on good old human strengths and abilities. Just my two cents. Maybe we could have a cult of religious people that try to shut down technology and inhibit progress? They'd be peaceful on the outside, but if you get in deep enough to their funds, operations, and other things turns out they're a bunch of money-hungry idiots who do human experimentation or what not? Maybe they'd instigate some sort of cyber attack or something for their purposes? Maybe some sort of bio-weapon. Hmm....everything else seems kind of beyond me, but I'm not really one to worry about small details like currency exchange rates. It'd be nice information to have, but eh...that's a lot of work and would require someone who actually had any inkling of how those all worked xP I think that's about it, but I'm definitely gonna be going with the Mercenaries at this point I think. Might decide to make something else after I finish them, we'll see though. ----- I suppose I should ask what sort of firearms are available and what is the general technology level? We talking about laser weapons here? Or more conventional kinetic weaponry? I'm fine with either, in fact I think it'd be fun to have someone develop laser/energy based weapons somewhere down the line and completely change how conflicts happen. (My cyberpunk is really rusty, so I Might be getting out of the realm of cyberpunk there, but eh, I like my lasers.) [s]....hmm....so much work to do for my little merc group, so little time~[/s] -Ah ah, wait wait. I'm making a huge corporate powerhouse with its own private military/Mercs. That's owned by a rather young/naive CEO who recently inherited the position and has no idea what the actual fuck he's doing. It'll be glorious. Especially to see how many other people attempt to use him for his own ends and persuade him into doing things that could hurt the company and such. Will he crash and burn? Or will he step up to the position and become one of the wealthy and powerful? Will he remain ethical and humane? Or will he start dealing in the macabre, unethical, and not-so-moral aspects of the life? ...I mean, if that's alright and stuff. I can totally just go with the ruthless Mercs.
