Below is what I have so far, alas the night approaches, and I've a dinner gathering to go to. 

So forgive me any grave errors with my scheming. My goal was to represent a small, but talented corporation, that relies more on cleverness, talent, and wise alliances than brute force and numbers to survive or even excel when facing giant mega-corps.

Role: A small corporation that conducts research in human augmentation (cybernetics and cyberization)

Important Persons: Konrad Gabriel Weber (CEO), John Kitano, and Dr. Ibrahim Kazimov

Background: Blackwell Industries is an enigmatic cybernetics and cyberization corporation widely regarded as one of the leaders in the field of human augmentation. Recruiting only the best, the corporation is nonetheless known to favor unorthodox acquisitions and is not afraid to take risks in regards to both the personnel hired and technological advancements pursued (provided the potential gain is significant enough). 

Of unknown or rather uncertain origins, Blackwell Industries is rumored to have been founded by former members of the NSU (North Sotraecan Union), SSU (Southern Sotraecan Union), and XCD (Xiang Cooperative Dialouge) intelligence agencies. The corporation is believed to maintain close ties with the intelligence communities of these nations and as a result it wields a disproportionate amount of influence and has often underestimated reach for such a small corporation.

Unlike other, larger corporations, who can field vast numbers of security forces and who often rely on brute force alone to win the day, Blackwell Industries instead utilizes unorthodox tactics, small numbers of highly trained operators and the services of third party entities to resolve any potential obstacles that arise. However, despite its small size, Blackwell Industries fiercely guards its technology, personnel, and facilities. The corporation relies on an army of lawyers, political consultants (lobbyists), and a highly trained internal security force to protect itself from both external and internal threats.

Fame and reputation notwithstanding, the goals and motivations of Blackwell Industries remain shrouded in mystery. the corporation appears to be willing to trade and deal with almost anyone. Alarming many neutral observers, in a departure from accepted practices, it seems that the corporation may even be willing to conduct business with the criminal elements of Hokuko. The origin of these rumors are a series of recent police and military operations targeting powerful criminal organizations which resulted in the seizure of advanced, almost state of the art technology created by an unknown corporation in violation of current laws concerning the manufacture of human augmentations.

Other: Blackwell Industries operates at the very edge of what seems possible with current levels of technology and is known for having produced a number of innovative designs that where until then deemed to be futile avenues of research if not outright impossibilities.
However, despite widespread success, much of the technology developed by Blackwell Industries remains carefully hidden from the general public and even other corporations.

Role: The in-house security force of Blackwell Industries

Important Persons: Sarah Sakai (Commanding Officer), Stefan Rudolf Mayr, and Walter Martin

Background: A highly trained and highly augmented elite strike force created to protect the technology, personnel, and research facilities of Blackwell Industries. Precious little information beyond the name and general purpose of the Black Watch is presently known. The identities of members of the Black Watch are steeped in secrecy and active operators are rarely seen without their faces hidden beneath balaclavas or ballistic masks.

Despite the secrecy surrounding the small unit, it is feared for its ruthlessness and peerless efficiency. In particular, it is known that members of the Black Watch are instructed to kill employees of Blackwell Industries rather than to allow them to fall into the hands of competing corporations.

Other: The Black Watch operates in small teams of no more than eight operatives, each trained and augmented to a degree unmatched by most other corporations and even the military forces of major military superpowers.
