Nick was sitting in his room, he wasn't happy, the chewing gum in his mouth was just sitting there, occasionally being rolled around in his mouth. But there was no enthusiasm, he was feeling low, really low. His date with Shizuka went fine....fine for a friend or an acquaintance.
She didn't want to be anything close to a date or a girlfriend. This hurt, he really liked Shizuka, she was the calm ocean to his typhoon, the stable rock to his volcano, Nick wasn't used to disappointment, he rarely puts himself out there and admits his feelings for someone, and when he does its always reciprocated. It was a little like [i]Nori[/i] but Nick promised himself not to think about her, she was probably dating someone now, most wanted girl in the city HAD to be. He spat his stale gum in his bin and turned on his radio app, he didnt have the energy but he had a job to do.

Nick put his Jacket on, and left the house on the way to the Lancom Arcade, while wiping tears from his eyes. Not even bothering to chew bubblegum at all.
