- What is the setting of the RP?
The RP is set in modern day times in any general, westernized, first world country. However, the actual world can be considered a bit different than Earth, but those differences will not come into play just yet. - Can you give me any information on the history of the world? Any major events? Anything at all?
Yeah... NOPE! Besides, most of the good stuff hasn't been created yet. The actual RP universe is kind of like a coloring book that will be colored in by you guys, whether you are aware of it or not. That's not to say I don't have anything because I do. To reuse the coloring book comparison, I have created the black-and-white outlines, you guys have the colored crayons. You may choose to color one thing and not another, rip a whole page out of the book, and even make your own drawings on an empty page. But like any coloring book, it will also come to a clear, complete end. - What genre would you consider the RP to be?
All of the genres, hopefully. If this is done right, we'll experience a multitude of the genres at sometime or another. From drama and mystery, to fantasy, to sci-fi, to romance, to horror and more. - How is the RP going to be, in terms of how it will feel like?
This RP is supposed to work similar to a sort of "choose your own adventure" type of thing, but the similarities to that sort of genre are thin; it isn't a typical CYOA (with the apparent and clear choices, etc.) at all. Imagine it like a hybrid between an anthology and a continuum. Things may change to where is no longer feels like the same RP, but at the same time, it still is the same RP. - Any information on important aspects of the RP? For example, will things like supernatural creatures or magic or advanced weaponry or aliens come into play?
All I can say is, maybe. - Why is the character sheet so bare?
Considering the nature of this RP, a simple character is all you need for now. A history is also not necessary at the character's conception, and it is encouraged and expected that their past will be developed and created over the course of this RP. - What kind of character can I create?
Right now, you can only create a basic character (a base that will be built upon as the RP progresses). Your character may change as things progresses though. In other words, you can only create a human; your basic, cookie-cutter, regular John and Jane Doe. Though, through the course the RP, John Doe may have been an intergalactic vampire hunter hellbent on time travelling and Jane may have become a former serial killer turned investigative reporter who has had love affairs with ghosts. - So this RP is gonna be a crazy mess of random crap?
When looking at the big picture, it may seem like it, but in reality it isn't. All things will escalate and de-escalate and change and morph gradually. It won't be a simple slice-of-life in one round, then all of a sudden an alien invasion by the next round. I promise. - Are you aware that you are not actually real but a character yourself?
Yep, and you know you can do the same yourself. By that I mean being able to break the wall between the IC and OOC. Once you create your character, feel free to have your IC character put their two cents in the OOC, although anything that happens in the OOC cannot affect the IC at all. You may also not do the opposite, which is to have the real, OOC you affect the characters in the IC - that's my job as GM. The opportunity to have your character take part in the OOC is just for kicks-and-giggles. *giggles and kicks something* - Any last pieces of information?
Yes, but I'm not telling you off-the-bat, and, uhh... yeah, that's it.
