Hotaru and Ryung were among the last to enter the portal. They entered it only simply to get out of there quick. For Hotaru it was very hard to see and she did not inherit fathers Keene nose. So she held onto his hand as he guided her. He could pick up on Valken's sent rather easily in here and followed it. When he saw the exit to this very dark haze looking of a world he waited for the others to exit first. Once the Queen and the Seers had exited he pulled Hotaru along. 

 Hotaru took the time to look around to get her bearings and she noticed the many boats besides the one they where on. She sighed and moved to railing and pressed her back against it and slid down it. She began to let her body relax a little. She was only half demon after all and her body did have its limits. "Thank you Valken, your help was most appreciated." She said. Her free hand, the one not holding her staff, pressed against her chest as she tried to slow her breathing. Ryung hovered beside her and he crossed his arms, not saying a word.

 Nova turned around to see the same portal and Valken holding it open. The sight of the Seers climbing out of it gave her a bit increase on hope. She then heard Kyoto speak that it meant it was their turn to fall back and indeed it was. She moved her body into a run as she used all meaning of the word haste. The moment her and Kyoto boarded the boat she began to give out orders. "Raise anchors! And set the sails!" She yelled as she cut the ropes that held the boat to the dock. It did not take long for the rough waters of the river to push the boat along. The other boats did the same. Off they were escaping the once paradise of the elves. Nova stared behind them as she saw fires erupt and screams being silenced.
