In the world of Abadon, humans have been engaged in a nonstop war for many year against angels. This unending war has been named "The Angcrial war". It started when angels had started to appear more and more to humans. The humans had learned to accept this and did not think too much of it. Eventually, the angels started to reveal the true reason as to why they were appearing before the humans. They wished to be free from the shackles that bound them to God. They wanted free will, just like the humans. Some took pity on them, while others believed that God knew what was best and that they shouldn't mess with holy affairs. Eventually, however, the angels had slowly worked their way into the innocent minds of the younger generation. When that generation finally became in charge of the world, the angels asked them to assist them in a war against God, they accepted, believing that God had become corrupt. The angels needed the human's free will in order to bring down God. The war was extremely short due to God's love toward the humans and his unwillingness to harm them. This event was called "The Retrearcle Capture". Since it was impossible to kill God, they simply sentenced him to hell. There, he is unable to hold any grasp over the angels.
At first the angels and humans celebrated, however times changed. Ten years later, the angels realized that their freedom could only last as long as the humans would allow it. They were also bitter at the human's lack of appreciation for their free will. After some research, the angels found a holy artifact created by Satan and a high ranking angel. It had the ability to strip God of his powers, however, they were never able to use it due to the high ranking angel being eliminated as soon as God received notice of it. God had locked away the artifact since he was unable to destroy it because of Satan's existence. In order to retrieve the artifact, angels need to gather enough "Inhera" that is emitted by humans when they die. The humans grew furious at the angels for killing their kind when they had helped them, so a large scale war broke out.
It has been 196 years since the first battle broke out. Since then, many advancements have been made. A material called "Auren" was chemically produced to damage the holy beings. It is produced in a liquid form and can be used in a variety of ways. "Proticans" are the soldiers who are trained to fight angels. Each Protican is trained at a specialized academy where they create a specialized weapon that is derived from two classical weapons. The two weapons are combined to create a weapon that the student will one day go into battle with. All weapons incorporate Auren in some way. The academy and the teachers give students 6 months to train with all the available weapons. Then they give recommendations as to what weapons to choose, however the ultimate choice is up to the student.
Dear future students of Freymont Academy,
My name is Malrain Hilfox, headmaster of Freymont Academy, one of the most notable and skilled academies in all of Abadon. I welcome you to participate in our annual initiation for all interested first year students.
Freymont academy focuses on the most important skills needed to join the ranks of our nation’s military hunting down our nation’s one common enemy, angels. It is critical that we stand together in order to win this atrocious war. That is why we need eager students like you, the generation of our future, to train and join our forces.
In order to test if someone is ready for such a task, all first years must pass our annual initiation. Students will be placed inside an arena full of dangerous challenges and creatures for a full 24 hours. They will receive no outside aid but should they choose to surrender, medics will be awaiting them outside the arena.
Once you pass this daunting challenge, you will be accepted into our academy and welcomed to our first term. Students will be split into different houses, all co-ed, where they will spend the rest of their four years of training at. Class attendance is of the most important and any absence without genuine proof could be at risk of expulsion. Here at Freymont academy, we take training very serious and hope you do as well.
I can promise that you will find your time spent at Freymont academy both beneficial and enjoyable and I look forward to meeting you at our initiation.
Sincerely,
Malrain Hilfox
