1) No, you would not use your weapon during initiation. Students do not get a weapon until after they have been enrolled for 6 months.

2) For the most part, you can do your own. If I have and issue, I'll inform you and you can change it.

3) Normal life I'm this world means that many people's parents are/were Proticans. This, combined with the school's stress for more Proticans drive many students to become Proticans. Choosing to become a Proticans is common, however there may be times where a draft is used if the next generation doesn't have enough students. Other jobs exist to keep everyone alive. There may be some entertainment aspects to day to day life, but it is rather minimal since many resources go to the war.
