When he put his hand on her shoulder and whispered to her, she jumped a little, surprised by the contact. Slightly indignant, she wanted to protest that being chill was much easier said than done. She wanted to defend herself and explain that it was an accident, and that it was natural for her not to be in complete control of the powers she'd just gotten. But instead Brooke nodded in acquiescence, because he was right. Worrying wouldn't help anyone, and she could've endangered them by doing so if it made her powers go out of control.
