[@Flamelord] Nova felt distaste at the display before him, but he hid it behind his aura. Gone was all trace of compassion or kindness from his face, and the very air felt purer in his presence. While he might show his more human side to those he favoured, he was in many ways a being that surpassed humanity, and nothing showed this more starkly than his ever-present aura. Even the Goa'Uld, undyingly loyal to their master Ba'al, could feel their very souls being touched, merely from being in the Emperor's presence. It was this power, this undeniable Presence, that had caused the Emperor's worship, despite his personal protests. And it was this very same aura that made it clear even to the single-minded and smug Goa'uld that they stood on thin ice, and a wrong move could plunge them into the abyss. "Your people have taken control of the area that was once known by the locals as 'Venezuela', setting up what appears to be a military camp, and making preparations for war. Your previous conquests do not matter to me, as they took place in a universe far from this one. But know that this world is under my protection. You will not be removed from this world, but think twice before you attempt to conquer it." Nova looked over the ranks of the Goa'Uld, before continuing. "There are two topics of interest I wish to discuss with you. First of which is the series of portals you have constructed that connect your reality with this one. While the majority of your technology falls within the scope of my understanding, I have only recently become aware of the presence of other realities within this.... multiverse. Therefore, I would like to propose a trade of information, or technology. In exchange for the blueprints to your portal design I would grant you access to the molecular formulas and altered material constructs required to form materials generations beyond those your people use." Nova lifts his hand, and in it forms an orb of flame. For a moment the entire room felt boiling hot, a wave of heat that would most likely be highly uncomfortable for Ruiko. Had it persisted for more than the half-second it did, it might have even dealt some damage. However, after half a second, the Emperor simply reeled in and balled the heat, allowing none to escape. "I have created this orb based on my estimations of your current materials. This is an orb of plasma which I estimate would inflict serious damage to the ships stationed outside, were it to come into contact with the hull." The Emperor then pointed at a wall with the orb of plasma, as it glowed bright white. "Now, I believe that a demonstration is in order." As he spoke, the orb of plasma launched itself at the wall, exploding against it as a psionic force field prevented the rest of the room from being cooked. And when the air stopped glowing, it was clear that indeed the wall haf only been mildly damaged, the special kolon-generated materials withstanding the immense heat with relative ease. Of course, this demonstration had functioned on two levels. First, it had demonstrated the Emperor's offensive power in a way that could not be considered a threat. Secondly, it had shown that the walls of the castle were nigh-indestructible, despite their odd colour. As such the Emperor would establish himself as a force not to be f*cked with, beyond what he already had, in addition to granting the Goa'Uld a preview of what could be theirs if they agreed to the deal. "I believe that knowledge of such materials would vastly enhance your ships' effectiveness, in addition to revolutionizing your troops' personal armour. Force fields can be broken, after all. In addition, such a trade could be the beginning of a trade relationship between our people, something I'm sure both sides can agree would be a positive change." Uncharacteristically, Nova would wait for Ba'al's reply to his proposal before he moved on to the second topic of conversation, which would be the presence of the Dark Outliners. While the Alliance of Conquerors had been the force that had defeated him at first, the Dark Outliners had hovered behind the scenes, and seemed to be a far more intelligently driven force. The Alliance were easy to predict, they acted linearly, and had a single straightforward objective. But the Dark Outliners were an unknown, and Nova would need to find as much information on them as he could. Because eventually, all aliens must be either destroyed or controlled. No xenos lifeform could be trusted to function peacefully alongside humans on their own.
