As for getting killed, they're still immortal, so like getting taken out by a bus won't kill them. However, they can be injured and incapacitated by mortal means. Just not killed by mortal means. There are both very special ways (in terms of ways mortals can go about killing them) to destroy them, or they can get killed by a god's powers if their powers were to be strong enough.

Uh, to simplify it: gods cannot be killed by mortal means; certain weapons and rituals can kill them; or other gods can use a great deal of power to kill another god.
