And that something explodes out into the surface with the force and impetus of a volcano, its twin metallic drills pulverizing bedrock, asphalt and concrete like it was glass before the rest of the creature clambers out onto the recently ruined road, whereupon it reveals itself as an upright drill-armed beetle-like creature that stood more than 12 feet tall and was more machine than flesh. As it appraises the futuristic architecture and the clean, utopian atmosphere the new world presented to him, its horn subtly and involuntarily lets out small sparks and electromagnetic interference, revealing itself to those who have the means to sense its presence from a distance while its metallic-colored shell gleams with the colors of the rainbow as the sunlight shines down upon its bulky form, giving it the air of a noble, divine being who had come to see how the surface world and its inhabitants had changed... But appearances are deceiving. This place... Really nice, very advanced... Makes me want to destroy it all! The drills in place of its arms coming to life with a horrible, deafening noise the creature suddenly thrust one of its arms towards the nearest structure, an office building; where metal and concrete and plastic endured for all of a handful of microseconds under the assault before the weaponized appendage buries itself elbow-deep into the building, the drill spinning still; the beetle then drags its arm towards itself, easily ripping it free from the building and taking a large chunk of the construction in the process before it finishes the stricken structure off by boring its arm into a section slightly below where it first struck and then freeing his arm with an uppercut-like motion. And. Down. It. Goes! Unable to bear the sudden and catastrophic loss of integrity, a quarter of the structure collapses into itself; kicking up a massive cloud of dust and burying everything close to its proximity; the beetle included. For a while, it seemed that the creature had buried itself alive in its folly, but then it emerges from the rubble as if it had merely been submerged in water; sporting absolutely no damage from its "shower". Heh, still invincible... Its appetite for destruction sated for the time being, the beetle then swaggers off towards a random direction; its pace telling everyone that it has all the time in the world and it isn't afraid of meeting any locals that might take offense to what it just did, rather... It was expecting them to come investigate.
