Madison took her time as Alysse explained the basics. She took her position again, but this time in a somewhat more orthodox position. As Alysse came in for a chest strike, she moved her sword down to block. She wasn't quite fast enough to completely stop the attack, but she did divert it and turn it into only a glancing hit.
