Yes, it could happen that The Lore Master falls in love with a student. She won't allow friendship step in the way of her ruling. She will have certain requirements of any potential mate. After all she is the top person of the Academy and her partner must be of certain qualities and he will be producing the next Lore Master. Only The Lore Master can rule and the next Lore Master must come from The Lore Master. She knows that she has to hold her expectations and morals high so that she will be the best she can be.
