Erick considered what their newfound friend was suggesting for a few moments. Did he want to deal with the police? Not really, and besides that, if they were to leave now it wasn’t like they could be framed for it, or anything. The security cameras of the cafe had clear footage of all three of them sitting at the table up until the moment the man entered the room. “Yeah, that’s fine.” He said, and then he reached down and took Aelia’s hand, standing to his feet and pulling her up as well. “Let’s get going, then.” He said, looking at Alex, who nodded. “It’s not too far from here, only a few blocks.” He explained, guiding Aelia by the hand as he left the cafe, Alex following behind them. In about fifteen minutes or so, Alex unlocked the door for them and let them in, waving his arm grandly at the house as he spoke to Aelia for the first time since their interactions in the cafe. “Mi casa es su casa,” he muttered, glancing over at the wall where he had arcane shifted earlier, still black and singed. “Gonna have to call the landlord about that one, I really didn’t want to call them until next week… Oh well. Make yourself at home. Get some snacks if you want, water or whatever. There’s like, yogurts and stuff. Just don’t eat my chips.” [@Ambra]
