Acquaintance or rivalry does sound about right for their relationship. Maybe a friendly rivalry? Wayne does his best to be kind of laid back to, admittedly it doesn't always work out and he can be an asshat (as has been showcased toward Mina) when ornery but trying to joke around. Or we can just leave what they know of each other strictly to dueling club if you want. Or if Murry was a prefect before becoming Head Boy, we can discuss other things too via PM if you'd like.

Maybe Wayne and Morgan have a rivalry or minor friendship too? 
Wayne is a member of the Slytherin Dueling Club as well - so they'd at least know each other from that...and trying to take champ from Morgan (if you fancy him the Champion of Slytherin as well as the head of the club.)
