From the intro OOC post: "One night, while at a late night deck party, one of the girls hooks up with one of her friends’ ex. The "girl code" is broken - the number one rule: never date, flirt with, or even be friends with your best friend's ex." 

That would be the betraying couple I speak of. the couple is a secret up until the actually hook up happens, only the two roleplayers and me as the GM know the identity so everyone's characters can be genuinely surprised.
