Finished Wren's RS! I think I got everyone, and I added some maybeslightlyprobably relevant tweets for flavor. 8D
Acacia Hawthorne "Um, who? Pftt. Kidding, of course. I'm pretty sure everyone in this school knows Acacia. She's really amazing, you know? I feel like she can understand me really well, and I like not having to worry about which side of me to show her." It's no secret that Wren looks up to Acacia. She's like the older sister she never had, and if Wren's ever feeling completely overwhelmed, she's the person she likes to talk to. Years of performance has given Wren a good grasp of body language and subtle facial expressions, so she's one of the few that notice the little hints of sadness glinting in the older girl's eyes. She doesn't know what's bothering her, but Wren is always ready to lend an ear. ____________________________________________________________ Wren Sinclair @wrenegade How can you help someone who doesn't ask for help? #iwantyoutobehappy ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Lili Lafontaine "We haven't formally met, but I've heard a lot of things about her. I know gossip when I hear one, though, so I don't believe what they're saying about her." Wren knows about the Lafontaine family, but not so much about the artistic Lili. There always seems to be some sort of rumor regarding her circulating around school, but Wren knows from experience never to take those at face value. _______________________________________________________ Wren Sinclair @wrenegade Rumors do not equal truth. Immediately after this tweet, numerous fans came to her defense: @wrenegade omg, is it about that stupid article? we know it's bullshit. ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Jacob Rockwell "Ah! Potential tutor #1. He's sort of hard to get in contact with, and even harder to get to know, but I found out he likes video games, so maybe we can bond over that? I haven't been playing in a while, so I can even ask him about what good games to get." In her search for a tutor—her father is persistent about her finding one, soon—she scrapped up a list of potential candidates and Jacob is one of the top names on it. She doesn't know much about him, though. Except that he's a Gifted, so definitely smart, and a member of the JROTC. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Wren Sinclair @wrenegade I miss the days when there were only real numbers. I thought he was a Gifted when I heard about him, but I guess not. I've been trying to get to know him, though. I could go to him for advice if I ever need to speak in a different language for a role." Wren's still a little confused with the established social hierarchy in Caelbury, or at least about how the Commoners are drafted, and she wonders whether one could be promoted or demoted. She thinks Roman could definitely be promoted to Gifted, but only after he gets a good kick on the behind. Wasting talents and potential is a big no-no for Wren. _______________________________________________________________ Wren Sinclair @wrenegade Need to say a few lines in Japanese. He's good company to have, and I like listening to him play music. He's a good go-to person when you're feeling down." Wren can get along with Vladimir really well. His happy-go-lucky nature is infectious, and she has a lot of fun when he's around. She has to admit, though, she's weak against his teasing habit. Wren swears she knows he's teasing, but she always gets flustered anyway. __________________________________________________________________ Wren Sinclair @wrenegade Ugh. I've known her since I was little, but after Aunt Eva passed away and Uncle remarried, I started seeing her less and less. Anyway, I see she's still as smart as always but I don't remember her being so rebellious." As their parents both work in the entertainment industry, they've crossed path often. Wren's father goes to Rayne's father's company when he has a musical in the works. Wren got to know Rayne because they were around the same age, and she remembered being amazed at how brilliant she had been. She hasn't heard much from her after her mother's untimely death, though, so Wren can only assume she took it hard. At the very least, she knows that she doesn't like her stepmother at all. Wren didn't particularly like her either. ____________________________________________________________________________ Wren Sinclair @wrenegade Seeing an old friend after a long time is a bit strange. This guy and his pretty-freaking-face and his charming everything. People assume I'm promiscuous because I look like this and I'm an actress, but I totally don't know how to handle real, not-showbiz guys. Especially musical prodigies that practically ooze charm." Wren, who likes being in control, absolutely hates it when she's reduced to a giddy excuse of a girl. She never knows how to act around James when he turns on the charm. If she's not turning beet red at his obviously offhanded compliment, then she's pathetically trying not to swoon. Wren honestly doesn't know what's wrong with her, but she swears she'll get over this soon. ____________________________________________________________________ Nicholas Sinclair @nicksinclair @wrenegade First day at Caelbury! I had to play a tech genius for this movie last year, and I bothered him nonstop so I could study him. The guy could be a real life Tony Stark, and I'll be the first on in line for his Iron Man suits." Wren and Nate are in the same grade, so they have a lot of classes together. As she mentioned, she pestered him nonstop during their freshman year so she could be get into the role. She felt bad after because he was so nice, it was like she was taking advantage of his kindness. So to compensate, she promised to get him whatever computer parts he wanted. __________________________________________________________________ Wren Sinclair @wrenegade Learning to say "hello world" in C++. Julie's a bit awkward, but I actually like it when she blurts out whatever's on her mind. Oh, and I can go to her for some language lessons, too!" Wren feels like she and Julie are on the same wavelength. She appreciates how hard she works and admires her willingness to help others. Wren can't just help someone from the goodness of her heart, not without getting something out of it as well. In any case, she loves it when Julie spouts her inappropriate tirades. ______________________________ Wren Sinclair @wrenegade "There is no substitute for hard work." ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Cole Grimoire "Oh, that Grimoire guy. Poor him and his unrequited love. Acacia doesn't even know about it, does she? I don't know him too well, but I do have an advice for him: knock yourself down a notch or two. Acacia might like him if he were more... gentlemanly." Wren has seen how he looks at Acacia and she instantly picked up on his affections. She feels bad for him—she's played characters suffering from unrequited love and it sucks. He seems like he could be nice enough, but he does need to be less cocky. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Wren Sinclair @wrenegade Which hurts worse? He seems like he could teach her some awesome ways to have fun and wind down. She heard he can be quite the smartass, but she wouldn't mind trying to out-sass him. _______________________________________________________ Wren Sinclair @wrenegade Leaving history class completely drenched. #schoolpranks #prettyfun ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Max Wallenberg "Max is my personal library, seriously. But—and this is a big but—he really needs to work on his lady skills. I don't approve of the trail of broken hearts he leaves." It was tough for Wren to get through his walls, but their affinity for books made it easy for them to get along. She appreciates his passion for literature, and likes to listen to him gush about what he thinks about the books he recently read. ______________________________________________________ Wren Sinclair @wrenegade Can't sleep. The best actor to ever grace the screen since the legendary Gwyneth Kingsley." Wren certainly has big goals. She may have trouble figuring out who she is, but she knows she has at least one constant: she is a performer. Whether she's the perfect, 'adorkable' figure her fans seem to think she is, the spoiled and superficial little princess with the negative IQ, or the cunning workaholic that has no game whatsoever, it doesn't change the fact that she is a talented performer. Wren firmly holds onto that belief; it's the only thing that keeps her from having a full on identity crisis. _______________________________________________________________ Wren Sinclair @wrenegade @gwenking Presscon today at 2! They've always been wary about the Profit family. We're in the same year, so I can't just up and ignore her, but I try not to get too close." Wren always obediently follows her brothers, so when they warned her to stay away, she did the best she could. She's heard rumors about Alice as well, but as policy, she can't believe them; she knows better than anyone how harmful rumors fly. It's getting harder not to believe there's some truth in them, though. _____________________________________________________________________ Jonathan Sinclair @jonsynk @wrenegade You aren't getting into trouble now, are you? He's charming, good-looking, and just… he's just the best ever, okay?" If it wasn't obvious, Wren really likes the principal. He found the perfect balance between fun-loving and serious, and he doesn't look down on his students like she thought an incredibly important authority figure would do. She's harboring a crush on him, that's for sure, but it's all innocent. The most she'd want is a few praises here and there, and maybe for him to say that he liked one of the movies she's in. _______________________________ Wren Sinclair @wrenegade Charm attacked! But that's beside the point. Mr. Hawthorne is Acacia's older brother, but he almost seems like her father. He acts like Dad with his open doting and overprotectiveness." The academy's VP is certainly interesting. Wren often finds herself peering curiously at him whenever he enters her field of vision, unconsciously trying to figure out what's on his mind. Everything about him suggests he's a kind and gentle soul, but for some reason Wren is intimidated by him. He has that look… like, if he were in a movie, he's the big plot twist waiting to happen. Wren always tries to get on his good side, because she's kind of afraid to see what happens when she's not. _________________________ Wren Sinclair @wrenegade Don't wake the dragon. ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Flynn Zimmerman "Oedipus is going to be fat real soon, I think, especially since I'm probably not the only one that likes to sneak him some food. Oh, but on to Mr. Zimmerman. His class is one of my favorites! He blows my mind every time." Wren finds it amusing that he managed to perfect the art of blending in, even when he towers over so many people. When she first had him as a freshman, she didn't take an immediate liking to him. He had seemed difficult to approach, and she couldn't help but feel like he saw through her, like he could easily see everything that was wrong with her. But, sure enough, adorable Oedipus had won her over and it made her reconsider how she viewed him. After all, anyone who loved this cat as much as he did couldn't be as unfeeling and scary as she unfairly pegged him as. Wren's opinion of him gradually changed since then, and now she even plays a Where's Waldo-esque game whenever he's in the vicinity. It's actually a bit hilarious how hard a task that can be. ____________________________________________________ Wren Sinclair @wrenegade Aha! There you are. She can work hard and play harder. Ms. Kendrick is actually the main reason I tried out for Cheer. She made it look really fun, and I couldn't resist." It was easy for Wren to like Alli. She showed her that no matter how hard you work, you could always make room for a little fun—it might even be necessary. Wren hasn't gotten the balance down, she still passes out from actually working too much, but she knows she can go to her coach for some unwinding lessons. In fact, even just going to Cheer practice helps her relax. __________________________________________________________________________ Gwyneth Kingsley-Sinclair @gwenking @wrenegade Good luck at tryouts!
