[*][b]Personality:[/b] Amiable and down to earth, Sora usually prefers to just go with the flow and let life take him wherever it may.  He's usually pretty calm, and has a habit of completely underreacting to just about anything; he's not quite stoic, mind you, he just takes things as they come and doesn't see why he should freak out over minor things.  Sora is very commited to his music, however, and is kind of a perfectionist when it comes to his own playing; he feels like he'd be letting his musical heroes down if he ever gave a poor performance.  Despite sincerely wanting any band he's in to succeed, his two greatest ambitions are a bit less lofty than fame and fortune: firstly, he wants to perfect he bass solo from Orion, and secondly... He wants to raise enough money to buy a Rickenbacker 4001 bass guitar, the kind that many of his heroes played.

[*][b]Talents:[/b] Well, he's pretty good at playing bass for one.  Whilst he'll admit he isn't the best at writing lyrics, he at least tries and is gradually getting better; he believes that a band needs to write their own music (with the obvious exception of any covers they play) since otherwise their music is less "authentic" and more impersonal in his eyes.  Aside from music, Sora is perfectly fluent in English (the only thing really marking him out from a native speaker being his accent) and is actually a pretty decent cook.
[*][b]Backstory:[/b] Sora's life has been pretty average so far, really.  He grew up, went to school, excelled in English... His history with music, however, began at an early age.  The first music-based memory he has is of his father, an obsessive fan of western rock music, listening to an instrumental track by an American band; specifically, Metallica's [i][url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8qrwON1-zE]Orion[/url][/i].  Ever since then, Sora has wanted to master the bass guitar in order to perfectly play Cliff Burton's legendary solo, although even after years of practice he still doesn't believe he's got it down just right.  His growing love of rock and metal music led to him joining several bands during high school; an old shame of his is a visual kei band named [i]Glitter Circus[/i] due to their utterly ridiculous (even for visual kei) costumes and makeup.  As he reached the later years of high school, however, he found he had less and less time for music and had almost given up on it... Until he came across one of Kazuki's flyers, and felt the fiery passion he once had suddenly become reignited...
