Direct action of magic on mechs tends to be somewhat ineffective, as their focusing cores drain magic out of the environment. So her dropping a rock on a mech would be as effective as always, [i]but[/i] actually causing one to vanish would take a lot of power.

Same deal goes for mind reading and mind control. A mech would protect its pilot.
