The Story -
(( Before we get into this, just saying: this is not intended to be a part of the SW timeline, really. Think of it as melding a bunch of it together. Like - it's our own world. For example we have Sith Purebloods in existence here, and the Sith lead a powerful Empire, though this isn't the Old Republic, before it, or after it. It's all just.. 'happening' - though you can include lore elements if you wish as long as they're before any of the movies' events. Also note: roles such as Emperor, Jedi Grandmaster and such are all there to be played should someone wish to. TL;DR-- You could call this The Old Republic's plot, but far simpler >_> ))
A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away...
The Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic have been fighting each other now for years. From the Unknown Regions, a threat long thought eliminated rushed into Republic space, crushing many a sector in savage, decisive battles. The Sith had returned, sharper, with a vengeance, and in the blink of an eye they cut the galaxy in two, fully conquering and wiping open rebellion from their territory with great success... The way things are today, the lines are about to shatter terribly in the Empire's favor. A joint operation between Imperial Intelligence and the Sith Inquisitors reduced the Jedi Order to ruin. Without the presence of many of the Force-sensitive defenders of the Republic, the Sith are free to lead their followers against the Republic with the overwhelming power of the dark side - unmatched. The situation is grim, but the surviving Jedi plan to strike back, form new alliances, and resist the Empire's continued advance into Republic space at any cost...
At the secret Jedi Enclave on Dantooine, a force of determined Jedi survivors gather and prepare for what is to come.
