"Lysander! Lysander where did you go?" The blind young woman used her cane to find her way through the area. She had been walking her dog in the park near her dorm when suddenly he had heard or seen something and bolted. And it had to be something important because he would never leave her otherwise. "Lysander! Please come! Come boy!" Jessalyn shivered. Had the temperature suddenly dropped? It almost felt icy. She heard scurrying in the brush nearby. "Lysander?" she asked only to have something trip her and she fell. A squirrel? A raccoon? She felt around for her cane, but couldn't find it. "Lysander please!" she called, getting frustrated and worried. She wasn't that familiar with the park. If she didn't have her cane or her dog it would be very hard finding her way back. She heard barking. "Lysander! Here boy!" A warm furry body was suddenly against her, licking her face. "There you are!" Jessalyn exclaimed, relieved. "Don't run off like that! You know better!" He continued licking her face, but then suddenly went still. Turning his head towards the trees, he growled protectively. "Lysander? What is it?" she asked, holding on to his collar so he wouldn't run off again.
