Heavy handed and skeptical would describe best. He commands an authority like no other, being able to make men twice his size back down in respect or fear. When he tells you to sit the fuck down and shut up, you'd better do it. He commands such authority because he's incredibly knowledgeable about the world around him. He only attacks when he has the facts to back him up, and will bury your face in his truths until you accept them or drown.... metaphorically speaking, of course! He always questions peoples actions, never takes events for how they are. These combination suit him well in his current operation. Ruthless, pessimistic, and all round kind of a dick would describe this man. 
Backstory (Optional):
He doesn't talk much about his past. Other than his higher ups, not a whole lot of people get where he's comin from. But he's on a job here. According to the authorities, these monsters need to be kept in check! They can steal souls for christ sake! Thus, Walter and his partner have been called in, discreetly, to... "monitor" the monster's activities. Which totally wont involve tapping phone lines, hacking internet search histories, general stalking, or any kind of harassment!

Her attitude is of a calm and cool one. Alyona rarely ever get's visibly angry and always wears a calm smug on her face. In other words, she is very good at hiding her true intentions. She could stab you in the back or right in your gut and still wear the cool smile. This suits her well in her current job, being able to hold everything back, but because of this, there are all sorts of little cracks. Signs that constantly bottling up her feelings, whether good or bad, is starting to take its tole. From her excessive smoking to drinking, those emotions she still feels don't go away. Being unable to truly confide in anyone might be her ultimate downfall. This is because, like her partner, she doesn't trust anyone. 
Backstory:
Once again, people in this line of work tend to keep their origins a mystery, and Alyona is no different. She is Walter's partner in this operation, acting as his agent in his field, interacting and monitoring these monsters up close.
