Perfect, I wanted to be a Vulcan.  Mind melding's a valid medical practice, right?

Also, what happened to the Maquis?  They are still around, just very small, right?  Just wanted some secret backstory stuff.

edit: I think that the councilor is essentially a moral officer as well.  Also, the only member of the medical personnel in the most critical area on the ship.
