Plot:
A young female student is in her science class, wanting to punch the girl next to her in the face so storms out and the teacher follows her to the door but gives up (or can't go in the sun, your choice) and the female goes home to the ocean and finds out her father is dying and that she needs to stay at home so goes to the teacher which she likes and gives him a ring so he can become a mermaid and visit her. (the teacher (you) can be any supernatural) She does come back to the school and the brother goes to live with her and her human mother.
