Well, as far as I know, the most you should know is that they have animal-like ears depending on what they are. 

Fox spirits have fox ears standing at the top of their heads and Garous (not sure what their english name is) have wolf ears by the sides of their head. 

Both of them tend to live in clans with their ruler being the elder of the clan (which doesn't actually need to be all that elderly), so probably you can be a Fox spirit from a nomadic clan or who is nomadic by nature. I dunno.
