[b][@Ninkitty][/b] The Phoenix had two eggs this season and needed to find a place for one baby. Rarely does this ever happen but at the hatching the parents would need to decide which chick would be kept. This particular pair are very protective of each other, their wey tree and their chicks which came along about every five years. This year they had to choose for both eggs are hatched. The smaller chick was pushed out of the tree by the male who happened to fly down to where it landed. It waited with hopes that the human would decide to spend the night inside the wey tree.
