Or at least one suitable for her, since she didn't plan on staying long.  You cannot leave, this is your fight. Andromeda was quick to rebuke that and Talay-a glared at the nearest wall. "You don't know that these are the people are necessarily the good ones. Just because there's someone you know in their heads, doesn't mean the vessel themselves are good." Talay-a informed her as she went into a random room. It was a large room, not as large as her suite but it would do for now. It was a ring of dry land, with stuff like closet space, a desk, the stuff that can't go in water because surrounding her bed was basically a moat. Judging by what she could see, although she could see the bottom, it looks pretty deep. It was pretty, she would give them that. At the end of the day, she wasn't cut out to be the hero, though. So she skipped across the water and collapsed on the bed, feeling herself start to drift and the exhaustion of exerting so much power taking over. "People always have two fatal flaws. They want power over others and they want others to know they have power. You can't have one with the other. If you have power, it cannot be known to others because then your power is reliant on people other than yourself and you no longer have that power. If it's not known, then you keep your power over those people." Talay-a's stepmother has taken over teaching her how to be a female apparently since her mother was always so busy. Her stepmother was young, younger than her father and mother despite already having two children, and she liked Talay-a despite Talay-a's parentage. "What if I don't want either?" Talay-a asked her curiously but her stepmother's gazed bored into her. "You always want power Tay, always. There's nothing better than being able to manipulate people to the highest reaches of Heaven or the lowest pits of Hell." Talay-a nodded like she understood. And while at that moment she didn't understand she would. Talay-a woke up wondering where she was for a brief second. She quickly remembered and sat up in the bed. She walked over to her closet area and put on a pair of soft pants and a tunic, with her hair still in it's braid and her cuffs still on her arm. She decided to go wandering, to find out what she could of her new residence.
