Alice lifted her head up from the bed and sat on the edge before responding "N-Nice to meet you..." she found it harder to talk face to face. "S-Sorry for ignoring you and all... I-It's just i'm really n-nervous and such..." she said while shaking his hand. Then finally someone else came in, and being the shy(ish) person Alice is she did the one thing she could do. Which was hide under the covers like a little girl.
