[indent]Slightly above average height for a woman and thin and boy-ish in body shape, Cori could be mistaken for a model if her pigmentation wasn't so atypical. If she's outside during the day, she's wearing sunglasses--not only do they protect her sensitive eyes, they hide the strange violet from public. Also, eyes affected by albinism don't always work as well as normally pigmented eyes: Cori's are no exception. Although rare, she'll wear glasses when she's lazing around the house, but she usually wears contacts to correct her vision. She wears her white hair down, typically at her shoulders with bangs over her eyebrows. She stands at 5'7", but appears taller since she wears heals and weighs in at about 120 lbs. She carries her height and weight with a proud gait--head up, shoulders back, and a serious scowl on her lips. She tends to wear square necklines that pull attention to her shoulders and beautiful jewelry around her neck and wrists, emphasizing her status and sense of fashion. Needless to say, when she's unsure about something, she'll take a chance and give her thoughts in an attempt have some control over what's going on. She doesn't like looking weak or unintelligent in front of other people and enjoys considering herself independent. She comes off as very serious to most people and generally humorless; she tends to carry herself as if she's better than most people. This gives her an air of arrogance and intimidation that is backed by a sharp tongue at people who irritate her.

Despite her bad attitude, she's very caring and generous to the people around her. If you need help, she won't hesitate to offer a hand even if she comes off as reluctant to do so. She at the very least knows right from wrong, but tends to give into class and society viewpoints, preferring to stick to the status quo than vouch for underdogs. All this creates a queen bee, very uninterested in screwing up her social life in her senior year. [/indent]

[indent]Corrine Elizabeth was born the first and only daughter to the Woods family, known for the dominance in the interior design and products industry. Her parents--the renowned Quincy Woods and former model Jennifer LeDuc--did not exactly expect such a pale, purple-eyed creature and were mostly ignorant to the pigment disorder until Corrine came along. They learned what they could, of course, and Jennifer pushed her daughter into wearing makeup relatively early. "You need some color, let's darken your eyelashes, a pretty pink for your lips," are criticisms the young girl got a lot. Still, she was never bullied even though she attended public school before attending Caelbury Academy (and perhaps it was because of her mother's attention).

So she grew to enjoy school life; outside of public school, she was enrolled in other classes, as well. Partly because they wanted their daughter to live a life rich with music and culture, and partly because Quincy and Jennifer had so little time to actually spend with her. So Corrine was always buried in schoolwork or piano classes or French classes or art classes. Despite all these, she never really had any close friends, and tended to focus on bettering herself than the others around her.

Until there was a boy, anyway. She started high school--still in public school--and he was a couple years older. He made her feel special and loved--and [i]beautiful[/i]--and dating an older boy of course earned brownie points as far as popularity went. He was the first to call her Cori. However, he and his family were by the Woods' standards, skeezy. Neither Quincy nor Jennifer approved much and they knew the tabloids wouldn't either. So, the Woods packed up and left at the end of Cori's freshman year. For sophomore year, she was enrolled into Caelbury Academy. 

At the time, she was heartbroken. The move had awakened a demanding brat that her parents could only calm with gifts and money. And, after enough clothes and makeup and new cars, Cori found the [i]strength [/i]to get over her lost love. She grew content with Caelbury Academy and found the crowd much more relatable than the drivel at public school.[/indent]

[indent]Piano recital, she was 12 years old. [i]Both[/i] mother and father were there to watch her and she didn't catch either of them on their phone [i]once[/i]. She doesn't remember how well she did, but she remembers the beautiful opalescent dress she wore and the pride in her parents' faces.[/indent]

[indent]Less because of the fear and more because the whole story is humiliating: he "ran away" the summer her family moved to a fair. When her parents figured out where she was, they called her and told her that her mother would be there to pick her up. So she got into the ferris wheel--[i]and got stuck at the top[/i]. When they finally got her down, she was a blubbering mess. [/indent]
