Wouldn't the speed of light kind of disintegrate basic bullets and spikes? 

I'm assuming they have something special so erm, I'd say it could pierce it but get stuck in the middle. Her Kagune is ridiculously potent and mutated beyond the already insanely resilient nature of normal Kagune. 

Once again, what kind of explosions? Basic grenades would likely shred small chunks that would be swiftly regenerated or she'd just side step before they'd explode. If it's plasma grenades like in XCOM, they'll likely destroy it yeah if there are many. Though grenades are kind of easy to avoid. 

EDIT: So her Kagune wouldn't be entirely destroyed by then, unless he'd put a sticky grenade on it. A single sticky grenade would cut off a chunk, however the shrapnel of her Kagune may be dangerous even to your barrier.
