Name: Lillah Lawson Age: 21 Gender: Female Appearance: She has a straight, boyish figure and a short haircut to match. Although lean, she’s muscular as well: her limbs are toned and the beginnings of abs sit at her mid drift. However, she doesn’t really go out of her way to show off her rectangle-esque physique, save for her arms since–when she’s not wearing a coat or sweatshirt–she prefers tank tops and other sleeveless tops. Under said tops, she typically wears a sports bra. Her skin is dark olive in complexion and her eyes a light brown. Her hair is dark brown, as well, and stops just short of the bottom of her ears. She has a long-ish face, high cheek bones, and a sharp nose. She stands at 5'8" and weighs in at about 140 lbs. Unique Traits:

Athletic: in high school she ran a lot track and after graduation she turned to strength training as well. And now in Post Outbreak world, extra time that she would've spent laying about playing video games is dedicated instead to keeping up with her work outs.
Guns: she didn't know shit about weaponry going into the post outbreak world, but her dad taught her a lot. Including...
Hunting/Preparing meat: Give Lillah your dead rabbit and she can make ya some stew. It won't taste super good--she was taught what to do in post outbreak world so she puts nutrition and practicality above taste.
Personality: Lillah has always been the loner type: she’s silently broody and keeps to herself. She’s angry by default and isn’t very patient with people–but has developed the self-control to deal with them despite. Her sense of humor is lacking and she’ll roll her eyes before she laughs. She’s a person who’s hard to get to know and doesn’t show much interest in getting to know others either. She’s brave, but not stupid, and very independent. She believes she knows how to take care of herself, and therefore has trouble accepting help from others. Once one does get to know her, they’ll find that she’s extremely loyal and protective. Post outbreak, she hasn't changed very much. She's a little harder on herself since surviving means more than struggling to go about her day to day life. However, she feels she has more purpose; she carries herself a little more confidently despite struggling with depression. While she still isn't the most patient or empathetic when it comes to others, she at least makes the effort to work with them. She's also learning that while it's good to help others, it's okay to accept help too. Mental State: Lillah is dealing with post outbreak life oddly well; to her, the world was kinda shit anyway even with heroes flying about it. Only now she doesn't have a steady dosage of anti-depression pills, so she might seem a little lazy to others and has even more trouble staying motivated. Pre Outbreak: Lillah doesn’t remember, but she was taken away from her birth parents quite early because of infant abuse. The orphanage she was briefly raised in believed the trauma to be the cause of her introverted nature, for even when she did come out of her shell, she was often rude to the other children and caretakers. Still, she was happily adopted by a couple by the name of Lawson, who probably felt a little bit like they could "fix" a problem child. They didn't, but she was at least happy and they loved her all the same. High school was tough on her and it's when she was diagnosed with depression. Even with psychiatric therapy, she struggled to care enough to do little more than pass. So come sophomore year, she added track to her list of activities—but not willingly. The school and her parents both thought it could help her. And admittedly, it did. There definitely days where she would have preferred staying home and playing video games, but track helped her feel better and look better, boosting some confidence in herself. Regardless, adolescence was a struggle for a Lillah and the emergence of super heroes and villains had her angsty ass rolling eyes. "Super powered freaks? This can only go well," she would bitterly comment. Post Outbreak: Between the three of them, Lillah's mother was the first to go. The zombies tore her apart before turning was even an issue, overrunning their suburban home. Without much of a choice, she and her father fled and began to struggle to survive. He was a veteran and they were both physically fit. This and their shared emotional disconnect is what allowed them to live so long with just the two of them. In quiet moments, they would grieve over the lost of her mother and their home and their life, but most of the time they were alert. It was one night while Lillah was supposed to be on watch that she drifted into sleep. She had usually done well, but the stash of anti-depressants she had grabbed when they fled had run out and the sadness and sleepiness was more than she could take. Her watches had always been so quiet, too, that part of her figured it was just fine if she nodded off for a moment... She awoke to a gunshot and before she could take anything in, her father and her were fleeing again. Only when they finally found shelter again, it turned out he had been bit. Not having much time after, he gave the gun to Lillah. Again, both of them had always been emotionally distant as individuals, so the time was awkward and sad, but they tried. In the end, he was just starting to turn when Lillah had to shoot him to protect herself. Lillah did alright on her own for a while, but the stress and exhaustion that came with constant vigilance alone caught up with her. When the others found her, she was playing musical chairs with a few zombies, stopping only to shoot at them. But again, being so out of it, she slipped up--nearly getting bit before being saved. So she's stuck with them since and is doing a lot better.
