Personality:
Seductive and shrewd, she has little problem doing what others cannot stomach. With her wit and silver tongue, she will never do something that is not beneficial to her or her court. Her mind is constantly on one matter or another, causing her to be somewhat distracted. She took on the personality of her mother, Mab and is a ruthless ruler. Her personality sometimes boarders on cruel, however, she always considers the endgame. Sorcha will never admit she is wrong and holds herself in high regard. She will never be caught in common linens and will turn her nose at immaturity.
Background:
Sorcha was born to the late Queen Mab and her consort of the time. Her mother ruled her child like she ruled her land. With a stern hand little leeway. Sorcha grew up detached from the other children, even they were nobles. Her days were filled with lessons on etiquette, politics and war. Throughout the decades her mother would force her child into one task after another. Should she fail any, she would be frozen alive with ice clogging her nose, throat and lungs. She would stay frozen for months and sometimes even a year.
When her mother had left court on travel to the fall court, Sorcha was given her first taste of freedom. And, like many of her people, lust. She had taken bed with a stable boy who then sired a child in her. Sorcha could not tell anyone for they all feared Mab and would never keep the secret. When Mab returned and discovered her daughters condition she froze the father. Sorcha was forced to go through with the pregnancy and for a moment believed that she would keep the baby, however Mab had made other plans. Mab froze the child with the father in a macabre ice statue and shredded Sorcha's fine black wings. Broken and enraged, Sorcha killed her mother and her mother's consort. She took over the throne and froze anyone who dared to defy her rule.
