Megan was once again awakened by the painfully loud blaring of the wake-up call. She looked around with some confusion as her head had been on her desk, specifically laying on her notebook on her desk. To her embarrassment Megan saw a tad bit of drool on one of the corners. At least she'd thoughtfully managed to change into her pajamas before conking out. Megan yawned and went about her morning business rather quickly, eager to get more cards and improve her deck. After making sure she was ship-shape, today wearing nice comfortable shorts and a shirt as red as her hair, Megan ran out the door. Her first objective to grab several packs from the store with her recently earned points. Her next step was to grab a bowl of cereal, she didn't pay attention to what she got, she was too focused on her packs. Megan sat down somewhere random, not paying attention to anyone around her and ripped open her packs, surveying the cards within eagerly. With one hand she absently put food in her mouth chewing mechanically, the other flipped through her cards. Her deck was modified, hopefully for the better. Cards flying in and out as Megan considered what would work best. Halfway the process through her cereal was totally forgotten and sat there looking dejected and forgotten.

Venwyn Ael

Wouldn't You Get Sick by Doing That? Whatever.

"EVERYBODY GET UP!!"

The announcement sounded for the second day in a row. Much like on the first morning since arrival, it had very little affect upon Venwyn - considering the fact that he was already awake. His internal clock must've been set in a unique routine for him, because it was like this almost every single day. Perpetually alert. Perpetually efficient. Waking up extremely early gave him time to practice techniques and exercises - namely the ones he uses to get around the school. It was like that back at the Ael Clan's temple, and Venwyn apparently wasn't going to allow the new academy environment to change that.

Still, he heeded the announcement and headed to the cafeteria. He would've tried that cereal stuff that the normal people generally got, although he didn't want to try a ridiculous amount of new things at the academy quite yet. Instead, he sort of just requested a bowl of rice, and ate it rather quickly too. So far, he had almost done all the things a normal person would. Heck, he didn't even use any of those fancy ninja skills to get to the cafeteria this time. It made sense, considering the fact that Venwyn had other focuses today.

Melchior's announcement hadn't disturbed him in terms of sleep, but it did interrupt the rest of his routine. Part of the Ael Clan doctrine (well, a super outdated version) had made it required for the members to constantly hone their skills as necessary. Now was apparently a good time to practice balance. Venwyn stood up, stepped onto one of the empty round tables and did a handstand. After a few minutes, he removed a hand.

There was now a ninja doing a one-hand handstand on one of the empty tables. Neat. He'd been going on for at least 7 minutes now, and didn't appear to be tired at all. Some students were beginning to notice (how could they not?), and a small few had sort of gathered around the previously-empty table, just to see how long Venwyn could continue.

Ben woke up with a startled yelp as he looked around and remembered where he was exactly. He groaned and laid back down on his bed and grumbled a bit. "Fine I'm up, I'm up..." he mumbled as he got up and shook his head. The day before hand had made him sleep in it was tiring and he had been bored for a good chunk of it and he was uncomfortable for the other half. It wasn't something he imagined when he went to school...well the bored part yeah that's to be expected. But you'd think a school teaching kids about god damn card games would be a bit more interesting and the kids a little less random. Day three...day three here and Ben had already established Team Awesome, and gotten into drama that didn't involve him. He deliberately took on a 'punishment' exercise by the teacher and had run around the stadium and he wondered how many more people were going to try to poke at him like the lion in the zoo who'd been there for years and had started to look really bored. The main difference was the fact that he didn't eat people if he got pissy. Ben walked over to the dorm showers and took the fastest shower he could muster and passed it onto Henry who had been waiting patiently for one to open up and went back to his room to put on his coat blazer. He put his duel disk on his hand and then put his deck box on his hip as per the usual boring opening. Not really caring what happened next and feeling it was just best to go with the flow Ben went to the cafe and sat down after receiving a bowl of oatmeal and a glass of orange juice. Boring but practical...yeah this was going to be one of those days wasn't it?

Andre was already awake when the the speakers barked at him. He had woken up a half an hour ago to take a bathroom break and had just been unable to fall back asleep. He was sorting his cards going through the possible combos. His synchro plays were going to be hard to pull off but Archfiend of Lightning was the key to them. Easy to summon and compatible with his plague spreader. His other plays involved stalling with Necrofear and or using his fields to rapidly recycle Skilled Red Magician into Emperor Archfiend. He hoped that the day would come when he wouldn't need to worry about drawing into god damn archfiend queen. Having that in his hand was almost as bad as opening with two of her and his Armageddon knights. Andre couldn't help but demand better of himself and his deck. He needed better synergy. The name of the game was POWER. Archfiends ran over enemy monsters who relied on effects. Pandomonium allowed him to recycle archfiends. And best yet his trap card let him bring out his big boys without a tribute. Second turn Emperor Archfiend meant bad news bears for his enemies. If they couldn't get rid of him QUICK then the duel was his. A 3k beatsteak that could blow up cards ala Blue Eyes Alternative White Dragon without the penalty of not being able to attack left his enemies in a bad state with only 4k life points on the board. Regardless of his plans Andre grabbed his coat and scarf put them on and went to the dining hall where he once again sat down at alone with a bowl of cereal, Dark Magic Oats, and proceeded to chow down on while stopping to sort out his deck as well. He was one thing and that was determined to show these kids why Archfiends shouldn't be discarded as weak.

Shinrei heard the loud speaker where he decided to sit on while he sat on his bed. He pondered what happened yesterday with Hayate as he decided what he would do for today. He surely had no interest in Turbo Dueling so he decided he might just skip that class especially if it was the class today, because it would not help make his deck stronger and he thought the Speed Counters were so stupid. Even if it wasn't, he was going to meet with one of his clients today so he was just going to avoid classes today. He might catch the end of the other class if he has time. He wasn't about to go ride on machines that gave people suicidal tendencies while they battled each other like a bunch of drunks playing bumper cars. Well, of course, he knew there were safety regulations in place where the automatic pilot would take over if one of the students was acting dangerously. He did worry about his sister, because of the fact one of those idiots could get her hurt and he would not forgive himself or the person responsible if that did happen. Shinrei placed his feet square on the floor as he used the momentum in his hands to push himself to stand up.

As he looked around in his decorated room which held all his collectibles which he earned, he tried to reflect on yesterday about how Hayate stayed with despite him informing her that she didn't have to. He found that girl somewhat strange though parts of her reminded him of his own mother. It did frustrated him in one way though in the other way he was intrigued maybe to find out more about her. Shinrei was a man who needed a reason to get involved with anyone and the fact that Hayate gave him flashbacks of his own mother when he was doing a bridal carry with her earlier after she passed out was more than enough reason for him to at least pursue an answer of why she made him feel that way.

"Everyone else here is a waste of time. None of them have proven that they are worthy of my attention." Shinrei said as he put his clothes that he laid out for himself and placed his uniform over the regular clothes he liked to wear. He decided he would take his duel disk with him this time except he didn't plan on heading toward class. He had other plans he made with a certain representative from his company where he needed to discuss some findings they found regarding both the Ray twins. He needed to wear his uniform so he could at least avoid unnecessary suspicion from the faculty of the school. The last thing he needed was them becoming suspicious about his activity. He was still worried about his sister though he couldn't worry about that right now. He had other agenda that he needed to attend to. At least he wouldn't have to worry about Leander since he wouldn't be in class or any area where Leander would try to annoy him. He decided to leave right after he got ready closing the door as he made his way toward the elevator to head toward the first floor. From there he would walk outside Duel Tower toward the abandoned building where he set up the rendezvous with his associate from his company. He got into the elevator and closed the door before anyone could see him.

Tsukiko had also heard the guy over the horn tell her to get up which almost made her pick up one of her stuff animals and throw it at the wall. She was still tired from having to get up early to take a shower so she could get in a warm one. She remembered the events from yesterday and didn't know if inviting Angelo to walk her back to her dormitory was a very good idea. A lot of people gave them unusual stairs as the approached her room though she didn't really care. Not like he was that important to her though she sure hope he didn't see her react to that painting she saw as she got on the elevator. It would be most embarrassing to have him the next day decide he was going to become an artist in hope of impressing her. She would think he was a complete moron if he even suggested such a thing.

"Ugh, last thing I want is him waiting for me. Hopefully he goes and bothers that Ethel girl. I can do without him after what happened yesterday." Tsukiko complained as she finished putting on her clothes including her uniform and skirt before she stepped out of her room closing the door almost immediately, because it was none of anyone's business what was in her room. She stepped out in the hallway and put her arms out in the air and stretched high toward the ceiling as she took a breath of the fresh air outside of her room. Luckily she tidied up her room so it didn't smell like it did last time. That was such a terrible foul stench she had to deal with when she first arrived which almost made her puke.

She noticed a few people greeted her saying hello where she threw some cold stares that she wanted to be left alone not answering them at all. If people were going to harass her today she would just ignore them. Most people knew about how she was and there was no use hiding the fact that she wasn't this nice pretty girl that they all envisioned her as. She was more of a dangerous ice queen that liked to toy with people's minds and they didn't even know she was pretending to be nice yesterday. It was a drag that she had to act like herself now, because she was sure everyone spread the rumors about how mean and nasty she really was after her meeting with the naive Angelo boy. "My entire day yesterday was ruined due to that Angelo kid who just wouldn't take no for an answer. He's about as bad as that Leander kid who wouldn't take no as an answer from my brother. They both share in common that they are equally as annoying." She sighed as she walked over toward the elevator as she took it to the floor where there was breakfast. She noticed her brother wasn't around when she ate her breakfast then decided it was time to head straight to class. Then she remembered she didn't even know that class was being held today. She took a look at the list noticing there was a blank and sighed as she stopped the elevator on the breakfast floor. This made her sigh since that was a class that her deck had a major disadvantage at if Turbo Dueling could be the class today. Well... this is going to be a long day. I don't need to volunteer today unless I want to lose big and hard today. With this current deck structure, I don't stand a chance at Turbo Dueling if that is the class today. She thought to herself as the elevator finally dinged where she reached the floor where the breakfast was though she wasn't going to eat right now. She'd wait until lunch due to the fact she wasn't really hungry.

Tsukiko walked over toward the entrance then leaned up against the wall staring down at the floor as she tried to avoid eye contact with everyone. If Ben showed up she might at least go say hi to him since he was one person who she could respect. The rest of the boys she would try to just give the cold shoulder to since their gazes would make her nervous and very uncomfortable. She thought she was the first one to arrive so she decided to fix up her deck and add a few new cards to it to strengthen a little bit more. She knew that adding Chimeratech Overdragon to her deck would give her a little bit more strength. She would need to summon Proto-Cyber Dragon to be able to bring out Chimeratech Overdragon which would provide a bit of a challenge considering her brother had Cyber Dragons in his deck. She also put Creature Swap in there which would be a good turn the tables card in case she needed it. She could have used that card against Michelle to help gain an advantage over, but unfortunately it wasn't one of the cards originally included in her structure deck. She wished she still had her Magic Jammer card, because she could have destroyed Realm of Light with that card, but she traded her brother for Overload Fusion which he thought suited her a lot better than it did him.

She was wondering if her brother would ever show up since she had waited in front of the room several minutes while she scoured through her cards thinking of how she could strengthen this deck since a few of the cards were brand new and just became official. The last thing she needed was some unsuspecting person breathing down her neck while she sorted her entire deck out to find out where the advantages all lied in her deck. She noticed that De-Fusion was in her deck? Why was De-Fusion in her deck when that card was highly outdated? Well, she did remember that her brother said it's good for easily setting up Xyz summon without actually having to get both monsters on the field. So she decided to leave it in her deck for now.

Again Tsukiko just stared at her deck with the cold look on her face and icy scowl implanted on her lips. She adored the three Void Dragon cards, because she remembered someone very special to her had used those cards in their deck in the past. This was even before her brother became the top tier high caliber duelist he was. She had a feeling that they might be the same cards her brother threw away. If the academy found them then why did they choose her out of all people to use them? She knew then and there they must have records on her brother and perhaps she would find out something about this mysterious duelist known as the Silver Flash who was popular way back then. She noticed there were Cyberdark cards in her that pack, but without the fusions they were practically useless in their current state. She decided to put them in her collection for now since she had two of the three. Even though she didn't have Magic Jammer anymore she did get out of that pack Mystical Space Typhoon which would have been a great card to have to eliminate Michelle's field card with. She would certainly add that one to her deck and Trap Jammer since it could destroy cards like Mirror Force. She added those two cards to her deck though she wasn't satisfied since she failed to get the Call of the Haunted card she was trying for. Oh well... She thought to herself since better luck next time. She did get the Creature Swap card she wanted.

"Hopefully with some of these newer cards I can prolong the duel with. I know I probably had a great chance had I not used Mirror Force too early and screwed myself out of using Dark Hole later on. I now understand what my brother said by you will know the exact time when a card should be used, but don't hesitate too long or you'll lose your opportunity.' She said to herself as she slipped the new cards which would prove vital to her deck into it and put the ones that weren't that useful into her collection. Since she did run a dragon deck the Cyberdark cards might be useful later on when she got the fusions and the last one that completed the set of three Cyberdark dragons. She then slipped her deck back into her duel disk as she returned her hand toward her side and began to ponder more thoughts about what exactly happened the other day and why.

While she thought about all that she mumbled to herself quietly as she paid no one else any attention, "The last thing I need is advice from an ignorant jerk like Vincent! I can't stand boys like him anyway. They make me want to smash everything that is in front of me!" Tsukiko raged at the end slightly raising her voice, but not enough so it could echo so everyone could hear her. She was hoping that he wouldn't stop when he walked by and harass her about how she was assembling her deck together since she had some new cards to it. The thought of that arrogant jerk from the other day who wiped the floor with Hayato just pissed her off, because she couldn't believe someone like that was around. His attitude made her anger boil within the cauldrons of the hell her demons thrived from. Too bad she didn't have her brother around to keep him away and now she would just have to fend for herself today. This seriously sucks, I sure hope I don't get picked for Turbo Dueling if that is the class today. It'd be like trying to slay a dragon with a dull sword. I wouldn't stand a ghost of a chance with the current deck I have due to my lack of Synchro support. I'm walking right into suicide's domain.

Camryn was once again startled awake by Melchior's yelling, and while she didn't fall off her bed like last time, she did resolve to see if there was a volume control button at some point. After going through her routine (and almost slipping on the wet floor after her shower), her stomach decided to make the fact that she had skipped dinner last night readily apparent, as it gurgled loudly. She frowned at it and said "Hush, you. Breakfast ought to be soon." She made sure she had her Duel Transceiver with her, and then went downstairs for breakfast, heading straight for the food line. She passed some ninja-looking guy doing a handstand with one hand on the way there, with a small crowd of students surrounding him. Huh. That's pretty impressive. Why's he doing it here, though? Camryn thought. She shrugged and carried on through the line; it wasn't her problem. Unless he toppled over onto her, of course.

After filling her bowl with sweet cereal (but no milk) and MacGyvering together an iced coffee, she sat down at a table near the door. She pulled out her Duel Transceiver and scrolled through the announcement with one hand and ate with the other, occasionally pausing to take a sip of coffee. Oh cool, we're starting Turbo Dueling today. I hope they provide us with Speed Spells. Otherwise I'd wager that a lot of people's decks would be screwed over. There was a girl nearby mumbling about "ignorant jerks" and "smash everything in front of me." "Having boy troubles?" Camryn asked her. "Don't worry about it; for every good guy, there's ten utter pricks."

Angelo stayed quiet till the last minute when they were about to part ways at the elevator to say "your cute when you smile you should do it more often Angelo said as the door closed before she could respond. After that Angelo went to go to his dorm and sleep.

day 3

Angelo groaned a he got up when he heard that moron over the intercom. "I swear if he does that every damn day in going to kill him." Angelo said before he went and grabbed his d-ciever and looked at it to check what he would do and he grinned seeing he would be taking turbo dueling courses is about time to! Angelo got up and went to get breakfast so he went down and got a bowl to get some cereal to eat. Once Angelo got a bowl he sat down to eat...

As Nathaniel returned to his room after his shower, his ears had finally stopped ringing from the early morning wake-up call. He wondered just who thought it was a good idea to wake up the students like that, since it would probably cause students to be less alert than waking up normally.

Regardless, Nathaniel had learned from his mistakes yesterday, so he made sure to dress simple today. He reached into his closet and pulled out a light-blue shirt, since wearing light colors in the desert was probably a smart idea. He also pulled out a pair of jeans and another set of his Earth dorm uniform.

As he got dressed, he took a look around his room, which was as bare-bones as ever. He had asked for a small refrigerator and a laptop, but since those have not arrived yet, he was stuck with his basic Earth dorm living commodities, which really wasn't much. He walked over to his desk, on top of which laid his D-Ceiver, his Duel Disk, his deck, and a pile of cards from the packs he ripped open last night. There really wasn't much in there. There were a bunch of Pendulums, which he didn't want, and a bunch of Destruction Sword cards, which, as cute as they were, he couldn't use. There were a bunch of other stuff too, but the real prize of his pull laid on top of the pile. Performapal Rain Goat. It had zero Attack and Defense points, but Nathaniel knew better than anyone that it wasn't just numbers that makes a card useful. Plus, he needed something to replace Fluffal Mouse. Seriously, why was that card in there? Taking the card from the top of the pile and sliding it in his deck, Nathaniel grabbed the rest of his gear and headed out for breakfast.

The cafeteria was crowded, but Nathaniel managed to get his bowl of cereal with a bit of waiting. As the area was becoming more congested, empty tables seemed to be in short supply. Surveying the area, Nathaniel found a round table which didn't seem to be too crowded. In fact, as Nathaniel walked closer, he realized that there was only one kid sitting at the table. Okay, that was pretty sad. Taking a seat across from him, Nathaniel gave a friendly "Hey." before stuffing spoonfuls of cereal in his mouth.

As the high-pitched scream shattered the silence of the morning, Brad almost smiled. It reminded him of Coach, if a bit screechier. Rolling off the bed, he landed in a push-up position, quickly knocking out a few to try and get warmed up for the day. He stifled a yawn, as he quickly changed into his spare uniform, almost regretting staying up as late as he did to call home. Luckily, everyone was doing well, even his older sister Angela, who just finished her degree.

Jogging down to the cafeteria, Brad frowned. His protein powder still hadn't arrived yet and breakfast was just a lot of empty carbs. At least they had soy milk. Pouring himself a bowl of cornflakes and soy milk, he decided to try and itemize his goals for the day.

Naturally, he would be attending all his classes. But of course, he wasn't entirely sure what the schedule for today would look like. A bit annoying to a planner like him but it wouldn't do him any favours to get hung up over it. He also had to ask the faculty when they were expecting the rest of the supplies to come in as well as what the options for sending items home. Two cards had been burning a hole in his pocket and he knew just what to do with them.

Speaking of cards, Brad had to try and find Angelo again to ask him about the pack he had given him. Hopefully he had gotten what he needed. But he remembered Angelo mentioned something about having a lot of Reptiles that he didn't need and Brad could really use some more replacement cards. That and Brad had picked up a Tuner he didn't need so maybe that would help out Angelo.

Finally, but definitely not unimportant, he had to get back into a workout routine. His family had banned him from doing any major exercising while he was recovering from his injuries but they couldn't stop him now. Once he got his schedule for the day, he'd find time to squeeze in some cardio.

Ignia Nosfera

Ignia woke up with a start, was it because she had a Nightmare? was it because she felt a disturbance in the fabric of the universe? no it was because of a certain someone named Melchior whom's recorded voice caused people to wake even if they were in a coma. Never the less Ignia rose up half awake. Though dazed she had enough wits about her get out of bed, she wasn't at home anymore which meant she couldn't lay in if she wanted to. Getting dressed in her usual well dressed get up (though this time wearing the green shirt under a black blazer and jumper combination). Turning her green eyes to her D-Ciever, she picked it up. She should of really gotten Ethels number but oh well she could get that later. A more pressing concern crossed Ignia's mind.

She had made a mistake, quickly packing her academic type duel into her bagpack she let out a huge sigh of self loathing. Her the great and wise Ignia had not only wrote the wrong course to take. She was tired though after that bus journey so she could not beat herself up about that but also choose a non compatible duel disk. Now of course Ignia's face was a bit ghostly at the prospect of taking the wrong course. people would probably use that to tease her, she would have the last laugh of course but she didn't want to go through that. She needed to speak to the head master before anything else. Walking through the hallways with a face redder then a Inmato painted red. Ignia took a embarrassing elevator ride upwards. Upwards towards the top floor to the very place nobody really wants to go.

Was she talking about a old mans basement? no she was talking about the principals office, knocking on a door with a knock that could be interrupted as hesitant or enthusiastic. She waited for a response with a look of fear and anticipation on her young face.

Vincent Gulfus

Vincent had had put his head on the table he was sitting at having finally finished his deck altercation, returning to his dorm with a look of glee across his face. He opened his dorm room door peering inside once more at his room. Putting his stuff down on his bed, he walked over to the desk. Picking up a slightly stale blue-eyes white dragon cookie and a papercraft of a red-eyes to match. He smirked in approval at the gift knowing full well whom it was from. Eating the cookie and savouring the sweet taste, Vincent got into his bed once again. after stripping down to his underwear. (he was too hot to wear anything else) Sure the Chaos Ambassador was tired as hell, still he had no people to join his pretend Embassy but oh well thematic theatrics were kinda fun to do in public.

Vincent dreamed a long and empty dream but it allowed him to rest just enough before Melchiors voice provided the wake up call he had started to loath. "Oh shut up" Vincent mumbled under his breath voicing his annoyance to a recorded message. Getting dressed in one of his favourite get-ups as known as what he normally looked like. Either way the morning hunger began to call Vincent downwards towards the cafeteria. Making sure he had all of his stuff needed, Vincent took his little walk down to the cafeteria. He was half asleep and so was much milder then usual. Still a few minutes later with some cornflakes, Vincent was sitting down and eyeing the Guy whom was hand standing. Brooding and waiting for him to fall.

Ethel got increasingly bored as time went on, not helped by the fact that nobody of importance seemed to stroll on by. Not even Vincent, Ignia or Venwyn passed by... And those were pretty much the only people the girl had some form of knowledge of. She was about to give up, turning her head back to the elevator. Then a certain Light dorm student strolled by. Shinrei. They didn't take note of Ethel, nor anyone else for that matter, and seemed to hurry along at quite the pace. What was wrong with him...? Before the girl had much time to think about it, Shinrei had already gotten in the elevator. "Wait, no!" she fumbled out when noticing it's doors closing, quickly grabbing a card out of her deck box and throwing it towards the elevator. She'd intended to trigger it's motion sensors so the doors wouldn't close one someone who'd try to enter, but Ethel seemed to be a little late. Her card flew into the elevator, in front of Shinrei's feet, but didn't open the doors again. "Augh!" Ethel cried out in agony. Why, if only she'd just been a little faster...! The bluenette took out her deck to check which card was missing. Blackwing - Mistral the Silver Shield was gone... Damnit! Ethel needed that tuner...

Sighing in defeat, Ethel returned to her room and put in the Jin - The Rain Shadow she'd swapped out earlier. It was certainly not as useful as Mistral, but a lot of choice for spare tuners she didn't have. Soon after the switch, Ethel locked up and left the dorm area for real now. Taking another elevator up, she'd figure someone had picked up the card by now and didn't bother trying to chase. Once arriving in the cafeteria, the girl clicked her tongue at how everyone had swarmed the place. The choice of food was again, varied in keeping with the subject material, but not varied in terms of the type of food. She walked up and took a fairly healthy mix of fruit and fatless flakes, adding in some soy milk to not make it bland.

Ethel proceeded to scan the room for anyone of note. She took a tray off the side and walked a little while looking. Not very far in, a crowd of people surrounded a certain table... Where a boy was doing a handstand. And not any boy. A certain ninja from the light dorm. Needless to say, the girl actually got a ticked off by this. Someone so good at dueling they can beat her? They shouldn't be flaunting like this. Brushing some of her rogue hairs with her free hand, Ethel started moving to Venwyn at a moderate pace. Luckily the cafeteria was pretty spacey, so worming her way through crowds wasn't an issue. The ninja's table was before the bluenette's eyes in no time, her turning up her nose. "And what do you think you're doing?" She questioned Venwyn, actually considering shoving him out of the way for a split second. He was a respectable enough person, however, so she didn't have to go into extremes.
Haas was kind of... Swirling his cornflakes around without really taking any bites. He was watching the door for pretty much anyone to enter, but even the Earth dorm student's he'd talked to the day before didn't show. "*sigh* Man, I'm bored..." he complained. Haas decided to take a single bite out of the dry flakes in his bowl, finding the taste to be... Actually respectful. He closed his eyes and nodded contently, just in time for someone to scare him with a sudden "Hey." out of nowhere. Haas wanted to gasp in surprise, but he was in the middle of swallowing and well uh... Kinda... Choked. Hard. "*COUGH* UG- *COUGH COUGH* -H! *COUGH COUGH*"

It didn't take long for Haas to regain his composure, but was a little teary eyed afterwards. "G-Guh... U-Uh, S-Sorry about that..." he apologized, knowing full well he made a fool out of himself. Haas tried to give a reassuring smile to show he was fine, even though the whole 'Choking on your cornflakes thing' from earlier looked pretty brutal. "I'm, uh, Haas. I didn't really uh, see you coming there." Haas introduced himself, bringing his fist to his chest once just to check if he didn't get anything stuck in his lungs. "Have I seen you around before?" the boy asked his mysterious visitor, trying to come over as friendly as possible.

Behind his new companion was something else of interest, though. Tsukiko was leaning against a wall near the entrance, checking her deck. She didn't seem too incredibly lost in thought to Haas, so he grinned upon this new discovery. "Hey, I know that girl!" Haas eagerly told Nathan, pointing to Tsukiko. It'd be a pretty bad idea to just shout something out in the open, so instead, Haas opted to take a second option. "Wait a sec, I'll invite her to sit with us!" He told Nate with a smile, before jogging over to Tsukiko. "Hey, Tsukiko!" he greeted upon being close enough. The boy didn't want to leave his new friend for too long, so decided to make it brief... Even if the girl wasn't listening. "Hey, I noticed you just got here and I wanted to ask if you wanted to come sit with us. Even if you don't, that's fine!" the boy invited, with a blissfully unaware grin on his face. "I'll talk to you later either way, alright? Don't want to keep them waiting!" Haas departed with a quick nod, before running back over to his seat.

He practically jumped back into it, rubbing the back of his head in a bit of embarrassment. "Sorry, I kinda get excited when I see people." Haas admitted, then took another spoon of his food before the stomach started to complain.

Leander woke up with a start upon hearing the loud announcement, nearly rolling off his bed. Righting himself, Leander sat up, wondering for a brief moment what was going on when he remembered that it was just the loud wake-up call. Leander got off from his bed and stretched his arms and back, then sighed in relief. He could feel that today was going to be another glorious day. Leander picked up his D-ceiver and turned the screen on, wondering if there was anything there. Oddly enough, there wasn't. Leander just shrugged and put it back down, then got ready to start the day. Brushing his teeth, washing his face, etc.

After getting dressed and making sure he had everything he needed with him, Leander left his room and went to the cafeteria to get some breakfast. A few students looked at Leander as he walked and whispered some things about how pathetic it was to lose so quickly in the Action Duel yesterday, but Leander didn't notice, his mind too focused on getting some food in his stomach. Eventually he reached the cafeteria, which was already filled with people. Leander didn't mind, though, as long as he could get some food. To help pass the time, Leander turned around to face to person behind him and casually asked, "Long line, huh?"

The person behind him, Michelle, looked at Leander, then said after a few seconds of thought, "Uh, yeah, it is."

Leander smiled, then continued, "My name's Leander. Nice to meet you."

Michelle, not sure how this had developed so quickly, was at a loss of words for a moment, then said, "M-Michelle. Same."

The two made their way through the line and got their cereal, then sat down at an empty spot at a table. Leander scooped up a few spoonfuls of cereal into his mouth, swallowed, then asked, "So, what classes are you taking? I'm taking Synchro and Action Dueling."

Michelle, still not entirely comfortable with casual conversation, said hesitantly, "Um, Synchro and Standard Dueling."

Leander nodded and continued eating his breakfast. Michelle did as well, though something was bothering her about Leander's words. She didn't know exactly what, but it was definitely something. It was only after Leander finished eating his breakfast did Michelle figure it out. Leander got up from his seat, taking his now empty bowl with him, and said, "Nice talking to ya, Michelle!" Michelle hesitated for a moment before saying, "Hey, wait!"

Leander turned back around, confused. "What's up?" he asked.

Michelle looked away for a moment, then looked back at Leander and asked, "You said you, uh, took Action Dueling, right?"

"Yeah, why?" Leander replied.

"Well, don't you, um, use a Sanctuary deck?" Michelle asked. "You can't use Sanctuary in the Sky if you're on an Action Field."

Leander was silent for a moment, processing Michelle's words. The more he thought about it, the more he realized she was right. Leander's tray slipped from his hands, dropping onto the ground in a clatter. Then he clutched his head and threw it back in shock, exclaiming, "How could I have been so stupid???" As Leander dropped to his knees, Michelle looked around, seeing that some people had begun to take notice of the scene.

Michelle went over to Leander and said, "I-I-I think you can still change your class right now. You should probably, um, go to the principal's office."

Upon hearing those words, Leander quickly recovered from his shock and said, "That's a great idea!" Taking Michelle's wrist and pulling her along, Leander said cheerfully, "Let's go!"

Michelle found herself too shocked to resist and ended up getting caught up in the scene. Before she knew it, they were already in the elevator, going up to the top floor. Leander hummed a small tune while Michelle covered her eyes with one hand, wondering how in the world it had come to this. As the elevator doors opened, they noticed that they were not the only ones to be at the principal's office. "Hello!" Leander yelled to the girl waiting at the door, waving to her.

Maisy bid Akemi farewell, half-tempted to exit in an impressive way by doing a triple-backflip and throwing the smoke-bomb down, but realized that she'd probably break her neck on the door. So...yeah, she didn't do that. Instead she walked out and back to the tower for dinner. Still a little excited after her loss, she couldn't help but cram it all into her mouth and go for a walk after, then heading right on back to her room. And then go see that JACK ATLAS IN THE PILLOWY FLUFF WAS THERE! Slamming her door shut, a tinge of red covered Maisy's cheeks. Tonight was gonna be great...

Cutting to black would be appropriate if she actually did anything lewd involving the pillow, but literally all she did was cuddle it all night. Maisy was naturally unworthy to pleasure herself with a pillow of the great Absolute King, and instead settled for just lying it beside her and hugging it. This was how it worked.

8 Hours Later...

Maisy almost screeched as she heard the announcement again, before throwing Jack Atlas at the speaker. Now it was like he was yelling at her. In a much better mood after that, she quickly got up and changed into her Wind-Uniform and got out the door, putting the Jack bodypillow into her chair. Checking her D-Ceiver every so often, she got herself a bowl of Corn-Flakes, and for just a tiny instant, had the idea to put orange juice in her bowl instead of milk. That would have to come later, as milk was the god-blood of cereal, and she opted to just get some OJ on the side. Finding a seat at whatever table she could, Maisy started shoveling her corn flakes into her mouth, looking at Venwyn from a fair distance away. "Dash Akemi's..." she started before gulping down her corn-flakes. "Her cousin, I think." she finishes, literally talking to no-one as she finishes her bowl of Corn-Flakes, and downing her glass of Juice.

Idly, she started people-watching, figuring that maybe she'd see someone interesting around, since she didn't see Akemi anywhere. Did...Did ninjas even need breakfast? Its the most important meal of the day...but...wait...that's what they'd expect. And then someone might try and poison a ninja's breakfast! But...what if the ninja expected that they expected the ninja to expect that. Maisy's head was starting to hurt...she'd just ask Akemi later about ninja-stuff that hopefully still wasn't racist in any way, before she remembered how she lost. She lost because she didn't understand her Fabled cards enough. Thinking on it, Maisy figured that after classes today, she'd experiment with comboeing cards together in Fabled, since it seemed Peggulsus into Catsith was a no-go.

"Wait, no!" Ethel fumbled out when noticing it's doors closing, quickly grabbing a card out of her deck box and throwing it towards the elevator. Shinrei noticed a card fall at his feet then noticed a girl that yelled wait where he looked on to see it was that blue-haired girl from yesterday. He wondered what she wanted out of all things as he grumbled to himself then noticed there was a card of hers that was at his feet. Well, he thought it was her card since he could have sworn he saw her throw a card like a Frisbee at the entrance toward the elevator hoping to jam the doors due to the motion detectors, but got too much spin on the card where it landed in the elevator at his feet. He reached down to pick the card up where he took it into his hand by scooping it off the floor with his palm flat before he leaned back upward as he waited for the elevator to ding. He noticed it was a Blackwing monster that was a Tuner. He was slightly impressed about the structure deck she chose. Blackwing was one of the decks he actually liked, but it wasn't a deck that fit his machine theme. Tuners are important for Synchro Summoning. He thought to himself as he read the language on the card clearly. He closed his eyes thinking maybe he should take the card back to her, but his client was also waiting and they wouldn't wait all day for him. "Hopefully she doesn't ask me any questions where I can just return the card to her and be on my way. I could have one of my associates return the card for me, but I don't want to draw suspicion at myself. The academy most likely doesn't yet know I'm the owner of Ikushirou Enterprises and I intend to keep that way for now." He said toward himself as he placed the card in his coat pocket sliding it in perfectly for safekeeping. The elevator reached Floor 1 where the doors opened as he walked toward the exit of Dual Tower and to his rendezvous point. A car pulled up which was a fancy one just like his own and he knew it was an old acquaintance of his.

The man inside the luxurious looking white limousine stepped out of his car as Shinrei nodded at him and extended his hand to greet the man. It was always a good impression for business relations to start off the talk with a firm handshake. It was something he learned from his father when he watched his father run the company in the past. This man had a white beard that extended down toward her neck looked quite elderly as he wore a white and gold colored suit that consisted of both shirt and pants. Some really sparkly gold shoes along with white ankle high socks. "It's a pleasure to finally see you again, Sir Shinrei. You have really matured ever since the World Circuit. Shame you didn't win it, but your skill is that of a professional. You've shown that clearly with the many tournaments you have taken part in. You are indeed the greatest dueling prodigy that the Ikushirou family produced. Shame to hear what happened to your mother. She was really a remarkable woman. I hope she's resting in peace and enjoying herself. I really hated to see her go at such a young age to leave young Master and your sister on their own." The man smiled as he released his grip and pulled his hand back as he invited Shinrei to step into his vehicle. Since Shinrei knew he probably didn't have classes today this was a golden opportunity to finally land a deal with one of his oldest clients. One that his father never managed to secure a decent deal with.

Shinrei wanted to know if this old partner that his father used to work who was a close acquaintance of his own knew anything regarding the accidents during the World Tournament. It was rumored that his father had used a brand new simulation system which actually looked like they created at the monsters out of thin air during some of the duels making it appear as some of them were rigged. Before Shinrei could launch these new projects he was working on he had to clean up his father's mess he created during the tournament. First he had to clear up the accident that happened during one of his duels and the victims that were comatosed when they fell toward the might of his deck. "I called you here to help me clean up my father's mess so I can make a new age for Duel Monsters. I cannot do that when people are suspecting my family's company of corruption and staging the accidents that happened during the duels. The media did a great job and covered up the accidents, but there are those that are private investigators who are not satisfied and want to look into the Ikushirou Scandal. I cannot have that weight over my head while I'm trying to launch my new projects which I'm very proud of. I think they will take Duel Monsters to the next level. But first I have to deal with my father's scandal and his snakes." Shinrei said as he tried to convince this old man to help take part in helping clear up the whole mess that happened during the World Tournaments. He knew that not everyone believed what the media said about the accidents blaming it on equipment failure. Since his company provided the equipment for the duels they were solely responsible for the failures.

While Shinrei discussed what his plans were with Ikushirou Enterprises as the car pulled away heading in the direction of where his client was waiting, Tsukiko was still in the breakfast room checking her cards to make sure that they perfectly fit the theme she used which using both dragon and machine monsters. She tried to keep to herself not to get involved with anyone in the room at all as she put the finishing touches on her deck as she returned it to the holder on a belt where her thigh was. Again she was wearing a black skirt along with that red Earth uniform as she tried to avoid bending over as she knelt down enough to reach the holder sliding the cards she didn't need back into it as she slid the ones she was going to use into a duel disk.

While she was sliding those cards into her duel disk she noticed one of the students said something toward her. "Having boy troubles?" Camryn asked her. "Don't worry about it; for every good guy, there's ten utter pricks." When Camryn started speaking toward as she was finishing her thinking about what she needed to add to her deck, her train of thought was interrupted by her talking to her about boys which annoyed her. She stopped staring at the floor as she threw a very cold stare as her face froze with a scowl on it at Camryn. In a way she did agree with her though the asking about boy problems did not make her very happy. She almost spun around to throw her fist into the wall behind her in anger after hearing that first statement. The last thing she wanted to be reminded of was that blunder she had with Angelo. She closed her eyes where she sighed turning her attention toward Camryn to answer her. "I suppose I agree with you about boys being pricks. Not like it's your problem." Her tone was very cold but her words were somewhat friendly. She didn't want to come as a total bitch toward her, but she didn't want to give her any impression that she was a friendly person either. Her mood was very sour at the moment and she really just didn't want to talk to anyone as she waited to see what class she would have to attend today.

"I hate all boys period. They're all selfish thinking only about themselves. They never think about the girl's problems. They just think. AH... FORGET IT!!! Don't even ask!!! They're all jerks, that's all you need to know!" Tsukiko said in frustration as she tried to control herself from doing damage to anything around her. The last thing she wanted was Camryn asking her why she hated all boys, but even if she did she probably wouldn't answer her at all. It wasn't really any of her business why she hated the opposite sex and she wasn't about to go into any form of explanation about it either. All she wanted to do was lean up against the wall and collect her thoughts as she could think to herself without anyone bothering her. Her eyes showed not only a frigid stare, but you could see a deep sadness within them if you looked closely. It was obvious the girl had suffered greatly, but judging by her look and expressions on her face she wasn't about to tell anyone why she looked so gloomy like she almost hated the entire world.

When she thought she was going to enjoy herself, another familiar face approached her from yesterday. That boy that ran into her during the first day. Such nerve that boy didn't watch where he was going though he was under the influence of her artificial personality which she used to try to fool everyone with, but thanks to Angelo he ruined her entire plan about trying to pretend to be nice and the mask was ripped off. She doubt she could use it anymore since there were probably all kinds of rumors floating around about how much of a drama queen she was and on top of that an ice queen to boot. Surely the gossipers devoured all that juicy information from yesterday and widespread it like wildfire. She swore she heard some girls talking about her earlier when she left the dorm area. No one she knew but they were saying how much of a drama queen she was. Such nerve, if they only knew how much she had to go through in the past. They probably wouldn't still be laughing if she told them about it.

"Hey, I know that girl!" Haas eagerly told Nathan, pointing to Tsukiko. Surely enough it was who she thought it was when she heard his voice. She turned her head back toward floor as she had finished talking to Camryn trying to ignore Haas giving him the cold shoulder treatment. "Um, excuse me?" Tsukiko said coldly as she felt a little insulted when he just interrupted her thinking after Camryn pestered her earlier about boy problems. She knew Angelo was responsible for people suddenly knowing who she was where she blamed all this on him. It was his fault that they were talking badly about her making fun of her. Two days in and now she was getting popular, what did she do to deserve this treatment? If it wasn't enough she was popular with the boys during the first day, because of how attractive she was. Ugh... Tsukiko thought to herself as she complained about all these people bothering her. Thanks to Angelo she now couldn't enjoy herself in peace and probably during her free time they'd be harassing her all the time then. Haas opted to take a second option after he made two options.

She almost wanted to scream 'damn you Angelo, this is all your fault' except she decided not to. Another boy though she knew Haas, but she wasn't sure if he was like all the other boys. She closed her eyes again thinking he was, because he just went over there and disturbed her when she was trying to enjoy some peaceful time to herself trying to rid of herself of all the backlash she got earlier when she woke up. This had to be a nightmare she woke up to and even if she pinched herself she wasn't going to wake up. Face it, Tsukiko. You allowed that idiot to see sides of you that were best left hidden. He also seems to have an obsession with girls who are dark. No wonder he likes Ethel. ...and now me... She paused her thinking for a moment as her face almost turned bright read where she continue to think more about it. Oh no, no, no... She thought as she shook her head at the end denying the thought of what she was thinking a moment ago. She denied Angelo cared about her trying to implant it into her mind that he liked Ethel and that he would leave her alone.

She then knew that wouldn't work since he already knew that she was experiencing great pain which she did not want his help to deal with. She knew he said something empathetic about his Uncle and how his parents made him live a harsh life which she could relate toward her devious father, but she still refused to believe that he could completely understand the void in her heart which she thought could never be filled. It was obvious she did this to herself. All she had to do was walk away instead of hoping he'd walk away. Thinking about it just frustrated her even more. She tried to push Angelo out of her mind and get back to thinking about Haas. Those words she said to him about being a good duelist were lies. She didn't actually mean them as she was just trying to torment her brother for pissing her off earlier for being a complete jerk. If he thought she actually thought he was skilled then he was a fool. She didn't know who was more annoying. Haas or Hayato though there was a similarity since both names started with the letter "H". She decided to accept Haas invitation and go sit with them, but she wasn't about to say anything to either. Neither of them really interested her at all and where was her damn brother? He was there the other day and now he's gone.

Tsukiko walked over toward where Nathan and Haas were sitting where she sat on the opposite end of the table due to her dislike for boys. She still had a mean look on her face and didn't really look like the friendly type as she took a seat. She wasn't hungry either so she would just sit there until class was ready. Not a word came out of the girl's mouth as pulled out Void Dragon out of her deck and took a look at it to see if it would do anything, but nothing happened as she returned it to her duel disk. Hopefully neither of them asked her what she was doing a moment ago, because she didn't even want to answer that question.

It wasn't long before Ben was approached by his little gang of misfits. He wondered where Frenchy had gone off too. He hadn't seen him since the other day when they ran into each other. He probably had second thoughts about joining this new 'Team' Ben had assembled out of thin air. Marie sat down next to him to the left blushing slightly while Henry and the others sat all around him at the table. Henry brought up the aspect of their little team and if Ben really meant that they should form a little club meant to cheer up student morale. He told them that he was definitely serious with it though he really didn't have any ideas on the matter. He spoke to them freely saying he planned on doing all he can for the kids here who would listen to them and enjoy dueling and their passions in general. Though he did insist on keeping it orderly too a point and he wasn't about to go on a college frat party spree. He insisted they all not get in trouble as much as possible but keep and eye and ear open and if they need help from him too come and find him even if it's during class. Ben insisted too all of them that he'd be there for them for as long as possible but for right now he'd like to have some nice peace and quiet time which led to the whole group simply sitting down and eating at the now designated Team Awesome Table. Though the table itself wasn't included into the club itself just yet.

After quickly polishing off his not-so-balanced breakfast, Brad brought the dishes over to the sink and thanked the dishwasher curtly. Since he hadn't been informed of his schedule yet, it couldn't hurt to try and take out a couple birds with a single stone. The top floor was quite a ways away and would make for some good cardio. Taking off his blazer to avoid Nathaniel's previous mistake, he tied it around his waist and took off on a quick jog.

Once upon a time, people had told him that he ran like he had wings on his feet. Others described it in... less pleasant terms. Unfortunately, even with the injury healed, Brad was out of practice. He could feel the sluggishness of his stiff movements. Taking a deep breath, he picked up the pace as he reached the staircase. Tapping at his stopwatch, Brad looked up at the near infinite flight of steps. Might as well time myself...

Reaching the top floor, Brad took a moment to lean on the wall. It was not a good time, the double meaning unfortunately missed by the jock. Wiping his forehead, he noticed a girl knocking on what he had to guess was the principal's door.

"Is this tha line?" he asked, his voice deep but raspy from the exercise.

Nathaniel could only stare in wide-eyed shock as the boy in front of him proceeded to choke himself on his cereal. Nathaniel thought he looked pretty sad before, but he had no idea the kid had it this bad. He raised an eyebrow in uncertainty as the kid appeared to finally pull himself together, and he seemed to go by the name Haas. Clearing his throat, Nathaniel decided to respond to his introduction in kind.

"I'm Nathaniel. We're both in Earth, so we might have passed-."

Suddenly, Nathaniel's new acquaintance pointed to something behind him. Turning in the direction Haas was pointing, Nathaniel saw a girl with silver hair. The first thing Nathaniel noticed was that she seemed to be an Earth dormer like himself. The second thing he noticed was that she was extremely pissed off. That was... unpleasant. As Haas got up to speak to her, Nathaniel could not help but raise some objections.

"Wait, Haas. I don't think that's such a good- Haas? Haas!"

With a sigh, Nathaniel turned back to pick up his spoon... and then promptly put it down again as he put his face into his hands. That girl looked about as much fun to be around as an angry hornet's nest. He called himself an entertainer, but around people like that, Nathaniel was less than effective, to say the least. As Haas came back, Nathaniel could only give a weak wave in greeting.

"Sorry, I kinda get excited when I see people."

"Yeah, I'll say." Nathaniel muttered. He had certainly proved it by almost choking to death when Nathaniel greeted him earlier.

As Tsukiko came to sit with them, there was just... silence. After taking a look at the two others beside him, Nathaniel went back to mechanically eating his cereal. There were probably a lot of phrases to describe the situation he was in now, but the only one Nathaniel could think of at the moment was "very awkward".

Hayato once again had woken up earlier than the wake up call as usual though this time around he didn't take a shower and left to explore the building even more considering its a large building to explore without a doubt the most unlikely place he will get to see is the section for second years taking a walk outside would be a nice idea for him being stuck in a big metal tower is anything but good for you maybe he should hunt down a nice quiet spot outside close enough to the academy even if its generally dangerous in the desert he even considered looking this old building he was told about as it sounded like a good spot to hide from the other students when he wants to be left alone though it also wouldn't help me improve anything he said as he looked over to his D-Ciever which didnt post him a class schedule which surprised him a little and decided to go against his original plans and look for this old building the wild animals he was warned about were not very aggressive at least not to him as he could easily walk past them upon arrival he didnt waste too much time entering it he found a old empty room where he simply sat in the corner looking outside as the walls were barely existant "Don't believe anyone should bother me here... maybe this will be a good place for sword practice" Hayato said to himself knowing nobody would be able to bother him here as it was still a rather large building

Hayate woke up hearing that horrible wake up call for the first time as she slept through the day before got dressed in her uniform and checked what she was supposed to do for the day but there was no class schedule send to her and shrugged it off as normal and went down to the cafeteria after taking a shower herself entering the cafeteria she found that breakfast was just cereals which she personally isn't a huge fan of but grabbed a bowl anyways and noticed Tsukiko sitting with a few other people, one of them she recognized from her first day arriving "Mind if i borrow her for a second?" Hayate asked with a rather Hayato-like tone, as for once she just wanting to hang out with just one person rather than with Hayato or Shinrei around maybe she'll get to know her better? she looked like she was having a bad time so it is a win-win for her in any scenario if not she'd drag her away the same way she did to Shinrei though knowing they are related Tsukiko probably has something to hide as well but she wasn't sure what and she really doesn't want to know yet.

"Balance is Weakness." - Some Shadow Guy or Something.

Needless to say, Venwyn's actions had drawn attention to him from the other students - possibly quite counter-intuitive to the overall ninja concept he had going on, although it didn't seem to bother him all that much either. He maintained his neutral expression throughout, though his eyes in particular showed a great level of concentration that you wouldn't really see on a day-to-day basis.

One of the students that had taken notice was Ethel, who had walked up to Venwyn to question what exactly he was doing. The last time Venwyn had seen her was around the time they first Dueled, with him emerging victorious and being placed into the Light Dorm. Interestingly enough, he hadn't Dueled anyone else since then - maybe he was just too good at blending in. He did have a "misty" presence, after all.

"And what do you think you're doing?"

"...Training."

Honestly, that was probably not the most suitable answer one could give, and Venwyn elaborated upon it, albeit slightly.

"...This is a test of balance and discipline."

...Yeah. Still didn't really give much away there. Still, the ninja quickly alternated hands, continuing his handstand as normal. The ninja didn't really expect Ethel to understand it; she didn't seem like the type who did a lot of physical activity.

A certain old coot was peacefully writing a few things down... Slowly... On a document. His movements were sluggish, eyesight was not the greatest and the wheelchair... Actually pretty comfortable. His nurse was watching over the shoulder, pretty interested in the things the principal was writing down. Whatever it was though, would have to wait. A knock came from the other end of his room, at the door that lead straight to the elevator. It was a beautiful two-piece mahogany door, with silver handles and a flower pattern carved across. "Visitors...?" the creaky voice of the old man rang, a senile smile crossing across his face. "Jay, if you'd please?" he asked the nurse, who nodded in reply and walked on over. Placing both her hands on the handles and pulling, the door slowly opened and illuminated the rather dim hall three of the students found themselves in. Ignia and Leander were in plain sight, though Brad chose to hide himself behind a wall for some reason. Jay could see him, just not the principal.

The actual office itself was... Grandiose. The walls, floor and even roof were perfectly polished with a huge glass wall behind the principal. It was at least a third the entire length of the circular wall. A fine aged wooden desk was where the old man was sitting at, with various documents resting atop alongside a quill pen and an inkt pot, naturally. Fine sculptures adorned the wall, alongside two potted plants on the opposite ends of the room. Here, too, was the DA logo emblazoned on it's floor. A luxurious fan was hanging from the roof, painted in a sweet pink and red pattern. "Principal? It seems to be a few students." Jay informed, turning her head to share the message.

"Good, Good!" his oldness answered with joy, clearly happy at the thought of the dull monotone being broken. "Enter, students!" he beckoned, Jay following up by stepping aside to let the three of them through. The principal put away the documents on his desk into one of the many drawers it held, then rolled forward a bit to come closer to it. His back was a little bent due to the age, but the principal still did his best to sit upright with hands folded beneath his nose. "I hope you've been well at our academy? You didn't run into trouble, did you?" the old man playfully opened up, having a rather hoarse voice. "So, tell me why you chose to visit if you'd please!"
Hayato wouldn't have much trouble REACHING the old building, but something... Unexpected was waiting for them when they arrived. They could catch a glimpse of a certain silver haired individual vanishing into the shadows, but before they could give chase, a cry from above could be heard. Shinrei's company shouldn't have been able to, with their talk and all, but Hayato sure should. Looking up would reveal three shadows circling the sun, with spots of red being covered by black feathers. They seemed to be quite meager, too, barely having any flesh on their bones. Vultures. Things could get really bad for Hayato really fast if he decided to stick around the area. A bit more into the building there was also a bit of hissing... A very faint hiss, mind you, but a hiss nonetheless. A light brown figure could be seen shifting in the sands around Shinrei & Co, but they didn't quite crawl onto the floor just yet. They seemed to be busy hiding in the sand, biding their time... To bite. It seemed a venomous snake was looking for a little lunch.
Haas was also just munching a little too silently on his flake mix, darting their eyes around both of the people seated at the table. Nathan'd gone quiet, and Tsukiko wasn't saying much either. Maybe the boy should say something himself? He pondered for a little bit, thinking up of... Pretty much anything to talk about. Maybe classes? Nah, they didn't have the schedule yet... Yesterday? Nah, too cliché... It was a real dilemma, trying to start a convo. He'd chowed through half the bowl already, and still nobody said a word. Haas kicked back into his chair a little, about to start whistling to pass the time, when Tsukiko gave him a flash of inspiration. Her pulling out a card gave them an idea!

"Oh, hey! What kind of a deck does everyone run?" Haas asked out of the blue, suddenly excited. "A deck says a lot about the person, right?" he continued, flinging open his deck box and pulling out a card. It was the first monster Haas played, Wind-Up Soldier. He revealed it to both his companions. "I think Tsukiko knows already, but I'm playing Wind-Ups! They kinda remind me of home, and they're really fun!" Haas grinned like an idiot, not really understanding his deck completely but finding it fitting the toymaker's son had a toy deck.

He wouldn't get much of a reply from Tsukiko, though. Not because the girl was going to refuse to answer, although it was likely, but because someone else decided to walk up to the not-so merry band. "Oh, hey Hayate!" He greeted, blinking in surprise when she decided to show. The ray twin quickly got to the point though, spouting out "Mind if i borrow her for a second?" relatively quickly. Haas didn't really know how to reply to that. "Err... She's not really an object, but if Tuskiko is fine with-" the boy started, but couldn't finish his sentence. Before they knew it, Hayate suddenly dragged Tsukiko out of her chair and away. Haas let out a cry of "H-Huh? Wait!" but it didn't seem to be of much avail. Afterwards the boy was left pretty... Confused, honestly. What would cause Hayate to grab the silver-haired girl so suddenly?
Ethel nearly groaned when she heard Venwyn's quite frankly stupid reply. Training? Really? She didn't really understand, considering she had no knowledge Venwyn is a ninja. "You've got to be joking!" she complained, suddenly considering the shove as a viable option again. Even the clarification Ethel got wasn't satisfactory. If he wanted to test his balance so bad, why not do it in his room?

"Stop flaunting! It's unsightly for a duelist of your caliber." Ethel threw in Venwyn's direction, an actual frown forming on her brow. "And here I thought you had some decency..." she mumbled under her breath, before walking away. The girl'd seen enough of this nonsense show, already thinking of Venwyn as little more than a showoff. She spotted a lone figure and a not-so-lone figure. Ben and Andre. One was the brother who flaunted his skills, then gave an unsatisfactory performance. The other the younger one, Andre, sitting there alone and looking to be left that way. Figuring the embarrassment from yesterday wasn't yet resolved, Ethel was deciding against sitting with them. Then again, Ben had amassed a crowd of people around him... And she didn't really like crowds. The bluenette considered her options, there weren't many other free tables... And the only other one she spotted had freaking Angelo sitting at it, who wasn't exactly pleasant company.

She decided on sitting with Ben in the end, but only because of what happened yesterday with Andre. She took a free spot in between the crowd of students, elegantly sitting down and brushing away some hair that'd get in the way. She wasn't really looking to talk, but with this many people... Well, she might have to. Ethel took the spoon off of her tray and started bringing small bites of cereal towards her mouth, not even bothering to make eye contact with anyone at the table.

Camryn chuckled. "We've all been there, trust me. You find the right guy sooner or later. Or girl, if that's how your tastes run. I'm not judging." Camryn went back to eating her cereal. Personally, she thought that Tsukiko was overreacting a bit, but decided not to comment to that effect; it'd be rude of her. Eventually, the girl left for a table with Nathaniel and another guy, and Camryn was left at her table again, eating cereal and sipping coffee. I wonder when classes are gonna start. Seems like breakfast is almost over. To pass the time, Camryn decided to do some people-watching. She did manage to catch the girl from earlier getting dragged away - literally - by some random guy (at least, they were probably a guy), and saw Ethel stalk away from the ninja-looking showoff. God, there are a lot of weird people here. How do you even get hair like that?
