All in all, high tier fights can be loads of fun sometimes... I think the thing to do is instead of challenging the opponent OOC when they do something impossible/ridiculous, you just roll with it.  Unless it's an auto of your character, there's usually a way around it.

Heck, I once fought against a city-nuking PC character with a mid-tier one who could level a few buildings at best.  It actually ended up being one of the most fun fights I've ever done, because every round forced me to pull all my tricks out of the bag just to survive... so IMO when you get to the crazy-powers tier, it [i]is[/i] actually a lot about theatrics, and just how epic things can get.
