Yutaro stepped into the casino to begin his shift, hoping that Ryoki had agreed to take the job. It would be good to have a new coworker that he got along with so well. [s]And one that was sure to look amazing in that bunny outfit.[/s] However, as he was clocking in, he noticed that  something was a bit... different. "Ah, Yutaro, there you are!" The boss approached him with a phone in each hand. He was examining a graph on one of them while texting some numbers to the higher-ups on the other. "Got the results from the latest survey. Good news! People love us more than ever. Turns out the bunny girl theme drew a lot of attention. So, can you guess what's next?"

Yutaro could never guess what was next. The older gentleman standing before him was a master of taking risks that always seemed to pay off. There was no telling what he had in mind, but it was sure to work. "You're not thinking of setting up a petting zoo, are you?" he asked, only half joking. 

"Close!" the boss said, and then began rummaging through his pockets, pulling out curiously decorated headband. "Here ya go. New work uniform."

Yutaro took the headband and examined it. "Wait a minute. This is..."

"That's right! From now on, you're Cataro. Bartenders are dogs, servers are bunnies, dealers are cats. Come on now, if the ladies can do it, so can you!" Not satisfied with how slowly Yutaro was processing things, he snatched the cat ears back and placed them on Yutaro's head himself. Then he waved a hundred dollar bill in front of him. "Got a little bonus for anybody whose name gets on the radio. Now get out there and work your magic."

Yutaro felt like a cat alright. A wet cat who had resisted his bath tooth an nail but was now drippy and soggy. Tentatively, he brought his hand up to poke his new body part, and was surprised yet again by a motorized twitch. [i]Touch activated? You've got to be kidding me...[/i] With that final thought, he headed over to his table, hoping that blackjack would help him forget about this new development.
