Nathaniel the Magician

Sydney, Australia, Arcadia-1
[@Savato] [@GrafRoy Zeppeli]
Nathaniel raised one mere eyebrow. This Ethereal person intrigued him. This much strength and intelligence in a being was rare and how he put Nathaniel in such a position was rare as well. And throughout the whole speech, he didn't feel an inch of hostility. They were reasonable people, these Dark Outliners were but not exactly trusting and definitely arrogant. Realising his position, he smiled. They did not trust him but they didn't have to. If he joined their ranks, then it would create tension. A schism as it was, in the Dark Outliners. "Well, I am guessing I do not need these anymore." He gestured toward the army around him as they opened rifts and entered back into the Other Place. Jannilius stayed however but shape shifted to his base form, the quadruped with the tentacle eyes. Ramuthra, Bartimaeus, Sonya and Duros stayed, these were his core summons after all. When the person in front of you was in a position of power and you were in a position of vulnerability, you would want bodyguards at your side. "What do I have of value? Well, if an army of powerful elementals, shapeshifters, reality warpers, spell users and illusionists didn't impress you, as a being of miniscule existence, I would be stuck." The Magician grinned, the type of grin that sent lesser men shivering. But the group before him were not made up of lesser men. "But I will need to inform you, Ethereal, I do not lead a miniscule existence, quite the contrary. I can offer you more than an army of powerful beings, seeing that you apparently have tons of those." With a flourish of a hand and a very short incantation, Boris appeared. Boris was a simple Imp and preferred to be in the form of a dove whenever he was summoned. "This is Boris. Say hi, Boris." The dove chirped a little "hello" as Nathaniel stroked it's wings. "Now, check your scanners. I have the utmost confidence that every single scanner that you have cannot detect Boris. No heat signature, no beating of the heart, absolutely minimum energy levels and only appears as an incredibly insignificant anomaly before disappearing entirely. Now, turn invisible Boris." The dove then vanished to the naked eye, escaping to the third level of the Other Place. "Boris is an Imp. Lowly creatures of insignificance that are used by spirits djinni and upward as snacks. But he has potential. I can create a spy network so vast and informed that you would be able to crush those who threaten your organisation and the balance of the multiverse. The Other Place is all around us, a separate but paired dimension that can only be accessed by demons and those that associate with them. It cannot be detected beyond level three, in which you would need one of these special monocles" Nathaniel pointed at the monocle on his face "to even see them past the real-world. And this network of Imps and Foliots are in your grasp. These Conquerors and Imperium folk have bases on this world, am I correct? I could tell you all the information you would want and need. From when their leaders takes a bathroom break to their troop numbers and abilities." Nathaniel had a crazed gleam to his eye, monocle shining in the light. "How can you trust my incoherent storyline? I will take a Magician's Oath. An Oath in my culture is powerful and absolute, a magician would rather die than break their oath. It is magical and if I break said oath, I would be killed by the demons I summon." He gestured towards the spirits around him. "I swear, as the Premier Magician of Britain, spell-user and holder of the Staff of Gladstone, the Amulet of Samarkand and Solomon's Ring, that I will serve and protect all assets and personnel under the name of Dark Outliner. That my deepest desire is to join this organisation and make balance in the multiverse under the supreme eye of the Envisioning One. I swear this twice, three times and then four times." A magical glow enveloped the Magician as he finished his oath, chains coming from the Other Place wrapping around him, sealing him to follow his Oath. "I also assure you that if I were to destroy you in the name of the Envisioning One, I would do so. And I also assure you that I would destroy the Conquerers, the Imperium and Goa'uld under the name of Dark Outliner. Unless my name was Oath Breaker, I assure you that my ambition and motives only lie in joining your organisation." Nathaniel paused, his intentions and motives were sure in the protected parts of his mind. Thankfully, if he ever did break his oath, the Amulet of Samarkand would protect him. It wasn't called the Amulet of the Oath-Breaker for nothing. Oh how he loved lying.
