Oh, I was just looking at combining two damaged droids of the exact same model into one functional one.  Unless you tied the other two lasers into the same circuit as the ones it already has, that would be pretty hard to do, on top of all of the problems you mentioned.  Tech is a thousand years more advanced than when it was designed, though, so the power systems have probably gotten a lot more power-dense since then.
