If you just make him dumb as a rock, that is fine. Its a trope, and imo not to offensive. If its the result of evildoing, it further removes it from those kind of problems from what I can tell with peoples reactions. I'll allow it. I will reserve final judgement until after I gotten the the full CS, naturally.
