[@Minato Namikaze]I might ask later in character, but how does your eye tie into your brain?  My guy, for example, has a cybernetics core (mostly because psionics require a lot of bandwidth) which coordinates various implants and their connection with the brain.  I could imagine your guy having an artificial optic nerve (for better resolution graphics) and either a cybernetic core or an implant into his visual cortex, but its your guy so you get to say how it works.
