I think back when I still have internet at home and I didn't have much to do other than studying and writing stuffs, I could easily take up to 11. Now, I'm content with just 4 (1 group and 3 1x1s) - even so I'm still struggling a bit on top of hectic RL and limited wifi access. Too many things happened in 2015 for me...

As to your additional question, I admit that it's partly due to me preferring to try out different genres - till now I don't exactly have a particular type of genre that I feel I'm best in. The other reason was probably my writing style? While in the past I would give free and casual RPs a shot, nowadays I won't do anything lower than advanced.
