R-By
The magician decided it was better to dodge his attack, and it also seemed that his preparations were now complete, judging by the 'NOW' he shouted. Surprisingly, he took off and the flurry of attacks continued, stronger than before. He was trying to send him stumbling back with the wind from the eagle, the sand started forming at his mouth as well and the cumbersome bother in his nostrils and ears had become an all too real threat for him as well, and that's not mentioning the other attacks coming for him in all directions. It had been a while since R-By had been this impressed. There were wounds already forming in his body, despite his protection with his golden wings, but he would close them just as quickly with his healig magic, and using the light that the human magician so kindly provided him with. The rocks attempting to crush him finally made R-By sigh and decide to finally move from the spot he had been on until now. He could've gone away flying if he liked, probably then Nathaniel wouldn't be able to follow after him, but instead he decided to stay and see what Nathaniel was truly planning. Size often came accompanied by power, so most certainly this wasn't the complete might of the man's demons. Nathaniel had another plan in mind for R-By. Perhaps something involving this Other Place of his. Of course, when R-By stepped back, he found his suspicions to be founded. The spell was massive in both power and size, and certainly, it did make him want to cover his ears, though he didn't. It wasn't like him to show weakness in a fight, or a test such as this. Whatever deep desire should've been whispered inside his head went unheard, however. R-By extended all 6 of his wings and then flew upwards, trying to escape the Nexus that threatened to consume him whole. Still, even at his top-speed, R-By could not free himself from the grasp of this enormous spell. He thought of using a spell as big as that, perhaps feed it gold until it was satisfied and disappeared. Nothing guaranteed that that could happen, however. Then again, the thing seemed to be targetting him and only him.... perhaps disapeparing would be a better option, but if that thing was a portal to... wherever else, perhaps he could use that. His dimension shatter was only at short range, though.... and if it didn't work, it could be game over for him. R-By went through countless plans inside his head and arrived to a rather simple conclusion. He would test his luck and see if this portal was indeed a countermeasure against the demi-human mage. "Ash to ash, dust to dust! Return from thy tomb, Pine!" R-By extended his hand and a purple magic circle formed in the air with intrincate runes and seemingly unintelligible letters. Afterwards, the circle started cracking and a loud, and rather high-pitched voice, echoed, "I'm here, boss!" Out from the magic circle came out Pine, R-By's zombie. She had stitches all over her body and was wearing an anti-bullet vest and a pair of skin-tight black pants. "It's odd for you to call me out! What is it, what is it? What we gonna do today, bo-!" "Stop for a second and take me into your pocket dimension." R-By interrupted the talkative zombie. "Right away!" The girl reached for her stomach with both hands and cracked it open. There was a black hole there, in place of her innards. She then took R-By's head and pushed him inside the blakc hole, which instantly warped him. At that instant, R-By's existance completely disappeared from that dimension. Afterwards, and regardless of the success of this sudden tactic, Pine would fall to the ground and hit the floor with a loud *thud*, all of her limbs twisted in unnatural ways and the zombie would seem actually dead to any outsider. If the tactic really did work, Pine would proceed to stand back up and turn to the human magician, before opening her chest again and letting her master out.
[@SgtEasy]
