Elizabeth was observant enough that the little pink elephant was looking for its mother. How irresponsible it must have been for the mother to allow its own child to get lose. It was very possible that this was all part of the test, but to Elizabeth it didn't really matter. Elizabeth thought to herself that she had not gotten to be as great of a person as she was without doing the right thing.

"Well, pink elephant," Elizabeth said. "Show me the path to your mother. Where was the last place you had seen her? Or do you not even have a clue?"
