To be completely honest, I'm not that sure myself :lol
I guess for right now we're a bit more advanced than Fallout is. 
People can bring old world stuff back to somewhat working order (unless they involve computery bits) but can't remake them. Production at max is WW2 era but with a cottage industry twist as there are no factory complexes liek we have no a day. I rememeber [@Dihn AronMK] and I agreeing on Khyber Pass guns for weaponry.

I guess the world wars era is about standard tech right now with more of the modern things like generators and assault rifles either being refurbished or heavily modified with existing spare parts. Keep the post-apoc refurbished feel. With the obvious exception of rockets and Karl Gustavs of course.

In short, just tell me a tech and I'll be the judge of it as we go along xD
