Hi everyone!

I'm quite interested in doing a Nation-Based RP for the current IRL world. Each of us would control a nation. You can have fictional nations should you please. We would then specify our Nation's backstory, and military, and then RP current events, especially spiraling out of control towards a WW3. Ultimately the war would break out, and then it would be a game of making alliances between countries and fighting the war.

Would certain world events still happen(WW1, WW2, Cold War) in our nations histories? And would they diverge slightly depending on what direction we may take our nation(IE, if someone wanted a modern French Empire, and stated the Bonapartists took over France after the nazi occupation)

Yeah sure. Let's say the setting is 2026 (giving you 10 years to change your countries) and stick to a general historical past, as far as what has happened IRL, but if you'd like to say that France turned Imperial post WW2 that's fine.
